"Ugh..." Peter groaned.

Sunlight shone on his face, making him cover his eyes.

"5 more minutes..." Peter's eyes shot open, "Wait..."

He looked around to find himself on a rooftop.

He touched his face to know that his mask wasn't on. He looked at himself to find a torn-up Spider-Man costume.

"Great..."

He looked down from the rooftop to see normal bystanders walking, driving, and wearing a cactus as a head...

"A mutant?"

He looked around to find another person with bat wings.

"Another one?"

Peter saw that the public wasn't shaming them for being mutants, nor were they calling them out.

"A mutant-free city?" Peter looked up to see a billboard written in a language that was not English.

"Japanese?" Peter started to shake his head, "I knew it, I'm dead."

"There's no way there's a city in Japan where normal bystanders coexist with mutants!" Peter thought for a moment, "Is there?"

Peter sat on his butt, then something dawned on him, "If I'm not dead... what happened?"

Peter was about to swing through the city when he realized he didn't have his mask on. Even if people saw him in that fight with Goblin, he wasn't just going to swing through the public, especially when he thought he was dead.

He slowly scaled down the building and dropped into an alleyway. He walked to the nearest dumpster and opened the lid.

He immediately regretted it and covered his nose.

He rummaged through the dumpster until he found a long-sleeved shirt twice his size and a pair of trousers smudged in dirt and grime.

Peter sniffed himself and wanted to puke.

"Come on Pete, you survived a bunch of crazed maniacs with superpowers, you can't lose to a horrible stench..."

Peter slowly walked out of the alley and looked around.

He tried his best not to stare at the mutants and look at his surroundings.

After walking for a while, he looked inside one of the buildings to see bookshelves and computers.

"A library!"

Peter hurried inside to use the computers.

"Oh..."

After turning on the computer, he realized something.

After checking the news, he realized that he couldn't understand anything in Japanese.

He did have a solution to this, though.

He awkwardly went up to someone and nudged them.

"Um... hi?" Peter awkwardly waved. "Do you speak English?"

"Yes...?"

The orange-haired girl answered, looking at Peter.

"Really?"

"Yeah, we learn it at school," she replied raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah...do you know how to translate the computer into English?" Peter asked, "I don't... know Japanese."
