I create a new book idea for nearly everything I watch, it's a problem. A while ago I binged Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra over a few weeks and came up with this plot. I made the mistake of starting to rewatch ATLA because now this plot is all I can think about.

I see a lot of Zuko and Sokka fics on here so I decided to make this series for my baby Aang who deserves more love. I did like Katara, I just didn't particularly like her and Aang together but Aang deserves love which is why I created this series.

The OC is a spirit, more specifically, the spirit of the animal kingdom. She can take the form of any animal still alive, which includes humans. She's been around a long time but still looks like a child in her human form. Over the years she's met a few avatars so there's already a sort of connection between them. And despite the fact that she's basically been around since animals existed, she has no name because no one thought it was necessary to give her one. But Aang did. He named her Kiani ('Ki' from Kingdom and 'ani' from animal)

As the spirit of the animal kingdom, she knows what it's like to carry such a burden. She gets along pretty well with the others but there will most likely be tension between her and Katara at certain points.

A matching cover set for all the books (one book per season, this series goes into TLOK as well). I adore this cover set, it's so simple and pretty at the same time.

Kiani doesn't have a faceclaim so the banner gif is just of Aang. I really like this one.

A moodboard for Aang, I haven't made one for Kiani yet but I love this. It really does give off Aang vibes and the colours are really nice.

This moodboard will be the act divider and considering the first season is 'Book One: Water' it has a water theme. I couldn't decide on a filter so I saved both, I'll just have to pick one if I ever publish this series.
