She had no time to spare so she coldly said to him, "Move your car."

"Yeah, that's why I said move your car."

There was a hint of irritation in her voice. Ramdam iyon ng binata. He obeyed her and moved his car backward to give way to her. He rolled down his car's window and said, "Jiwon..." But he was ignored.

He watched as Jiwon started the engine and drove away like he was never there. Na parang balewala ang presensya n'ya.

He decided to follow her. He even tried to call her on the phone and was lucky enough that she answered.

But not lucky enough that he received another cold response as she said, "Lt. Lim, don't follow me.

And that was the end of their call. He slowed down his car and eventually stopped at the exit gate of Camino Subdivision. It was clear to him. Galit ang dalaga sa kanya. That she was probably sulking because he stood her up last night. Or maybe... she knew where and who he spent the night with.

That place was only giving her memories of pain and guilt. But her situation gave her no other option but to go there.

She rolled down her car's window. The leaves and trees planted on each side of the highway were whispering something to her. If only she could understand their language... But there was no way she would know unless she would entertain the idea of her being out of her own mind. Talking with trees and wind? She couldn't even communicate well with her own father. She should probably consider visiting her therapist soon. Soon... Kapag tapos na ang lahat.

Ang Victoria Crimes Division Office ay walang pinagbago mula noong huli s'yang napadpad doon. It was still giving her the feeling of being unwelcome. Eyes were staring at her like she was someone that shouldn't be there.
