Zelda was taking a stroll along the outside of the castle walls after studying up on her prophecies. Despite the fact that she didn't believe in them, a Princess must be knowledgeable about many things.

Including her spiritual side.

As she found a nice sunny spot, she sat down and looked across the idyllic Hyrule Fields. Large hills dotted with flowers and trees, and a large lake, sparkling as the sun warmed the air. Zelda took this time to draw. But what exactly?

She quickly opened her notepad and her fingers moved on their own. A stern face, long shaggy hair, and a ruffled tunic. Beside him, was a beast made of bones, tumbling around him. Zelda smiled to herself, proud of the rough sketch of Link.
Thoughts raced across her mind.

"Where was he now? Has anything exciting happened?"

The broad green and mountainous range was impossibly large for one person to navigate. Was he brave enough to face it?
Thinking about Link made her feel at ease with herself. For some reason.

Zelda argued it was because she felt comfortable with him, not because the Triforce had anything to do with it. She wondered if he thought of her, and felt her heart skip.

"Meditating?"
Zelda jumped slightly and saw Sahasrala leaning on his cane, smiling and holding a few prophetic books.

"Not necessarily," said Zelda. "Just thinking about what I should draw."

Sahasrala looked across the plains and said, "Aye, it's a beautiful land." He said a bit sadder, "Ganondorf's army is approaching. Fast. As the wielder of the Triforce of Wisdom, I must ask you, Princess Zelda, have you felt anything? Has the boy spoken to you?"

Zelda squinted. "Spoken?"
He pointed to his head. "In your mind, can you....see him at all?"

"I don't think I understand."

Sahasrala nodded. "Nevermind, then. Perhaps I misunderstood the prophecy, after all."

Zelda opened her notepad again, careful to not show what she drew. "I was wondering, Sahasrala. Can a piece of the Triforce lose all its power?"

"It's not impossible. You touched the Triforce of Wisdom, daughter. You tell me," he said with a smile.

"That's impossible, Sahasrala. The Triforce of Wisdom is an heirloom; I've felt nothing," she said reassuring herself.

He nodded. "Perhaps." He looked at the lake in the distance again. "Or perhaps one must accept that it holds power to gain its power."

"And how can a Golden Triangle hold power?"

"How does the wind move from coast to coast? How does the grass grow tall? How do the waves reach the beach? There are many things that happen that no mortal can explain because The Goddesses are the reason."

"So, no matter how much we search we will never fully understand it? Sounds cruel for the Goddesses to keep us in the dark."

"The Goddesses have given us everything we need and not what we do not need. That would be vanity on our part, Princess. The Triforce is three. Wisdom, Power, and Courage. If They wanted us to be all knowing, They would've given us three Triforce of Wisdom. So, balance is necessary."

Zelda thought for a moment and her mind went back to Link again. "What if the wielder has a selfish motive? The Triforce wouldn't grant them power, or would it?"

Sahasrala scratched his beard. "That is an interesting question, Princess. There's clearly more I must investigate. However, if Ganondorf has the Triforce of Power, then your questions have already been answered. Now, I must ask again, and forgive me...but are you sure you cannot feel it calling you? Have you felt the presence of the boy?"

Zelda stammered, "I...I miss Link, sure, but that isn't..."

"And Ganondorf? Can you sense him at all?"

This surprised Zelda somewhat. "Why would I sense him?"

"The prophecy states that Wielder can sense the other two. It stands to reason that you can sense it."

"No, Sahasrahla I haven't felt anything."

"Hmm, how strange. I was so certain."
