"Are you excited?" Gina's dad glanced over at her daughter as she looked out the window.
Rain droplets ran down the glass and just like she did when she was a child Gina choose two pairs and watched them intently as they swiftly moved down the surface.
"How excited do you want me to be?" The girl asked, turning her attention on her father as they eased into the California traffic. "You're leaving me in California with people I barely know to go all the way to Switzerland dad."
"I know baby girl, but it's the best thing for the company. You know I'm-"
"Trying to go international. Yes, I get it." Gina nodded propping up her feet on the dashboard.
"Don't do that." Her father said swatting her feet down.
"We're in traffic dad." Gina deadpanned propping her feet back up. "Harlez probably wants to get out so bad." She pouted turning to her white cat that slept quietly in the travel kennel.
"Harlez will be let out once we get to the Smiths." Her Dad responded tapping his finger on the wheel. "Callie is so excited to see you."
"Excited to see you or me?" Gina asked, barely looking at her dead but sensing the shocked look on his face.
