Its been a month since America have discovered our existence and a week afer that was a mutual defense treaty and a alliance between our nation. Trade, diplomacy and tourism was high on both of us and it did improve a lot of qualities in Britain due to trade

Unity is very strong between the UK and the US and cooperation between the two have gone very smoothly and free trade has been happening. Overall, everyone's quality of life has been steadily improving and the economy is slowly and steadily rising

I am currently inside the Pendragon Manor and I am packing my belongings into a suitcase because I am invited by Emma to stay at Washington D.C for a talk between leaders. Its my first time to visit America and I feel very excited

As I put the last of my items inside my bag, I sit down on my bed and close my eyes for a minute as the day was still early. It didnt take long for me to resume my productivity and head downstairs at the foyer of the manor where Mum and the maids were waiting for me

Elizabeth wasnt in view so I assume she's still in bed. Which isnt surprising since its around 6 AM. Mum grabs me by the shoulder and hugs me

Mum: Ohh, Im gonna miss you when you leave for America~

Y/N: Mother, calm down, Im gonna be away just for the weekends

Mum: Without you on the weekends feels like an eternity

A single drop of sweat trickles down the back of my head from mother's slightly possessive attitude, she held onto me. But knowing that after father's passing, it was just me and Lizzie mum has and she's doing her best to take care of us both and be a good mother

I hold on to her hand as she held my shoulders and with a smile, I reply back to her

Y/N: I promise I wont be long. Do you want me to bring back a souvenir?

Mum: American Chocolate Chip Cookies would be nice

After exchanging goodbyes with my mother, I go to the driveway where the driver is waiting for me to hop inside. As I head there, I heard Mum saying her goodbyes

Mum: Bye sweetie~ be safe and have fun

Maids: Bows Farewell Master, have a safe trip

I smile at my Mum and the maids and gave them a nod before I enter inside the vehicle then it drove away from the manor as soon as I was ready for the trip for the airport where I will be transported by aircraft

Timeskip, Washington DC

From early morning to noon, I finally step out of the Avro York that carried me there, I arrive at my destination for a formal visit with the president. My expectations were not what I had imagined because upon landing, there wasnt a crowd to welcome me as if my visit was not made public

I shrug it off and greet the Americans who had came to escort me to the Whitehouse and it was none other than Emma who came to fetch me

Emma: Y/N!! Its great to see you again!

Emma came for a hug and while humming excitedly for finally visiting the nation she built. After a quick hug, she escorts me to her vehicle which is a 1942 Lincoln Custom. I enter the vehicle after Emma then we drove off to the White House

We use this time to catch up and have some small talks

Emma: How have you been?

Y/N: Not that bad. I diverted some work to the House of Lords so I could make time for the visit. Schedules can be a bit of a mess sometimes
