The night with Zoro and Sanji had finished pleasantly. You continued to talk and have your drinks while Sanji worked. It was a grounding experience you needed after the day you'd had. You didn't bring up the Vinsmokes again, especially since Sanji had only just managed to settle. Instead you got interrogated about what your plans were for after college. You hated to admit, but you still had no idea. You had hoped that staying in the classes for some time would give you a better idea of what you wanted to do, but it wasn't helping and time was ticking away.

Deciding to head home a little early, you said goodbye to Zoro and Sanji and headed back to the dorms. If you had a lunch date planned, you don't want to be falling asleep on your plate during it. The campus was quiet and mostly deserted upon your return, as usual. It was spooky, especially since it was so very close to Halloween. Hell, in your opinion, it was already pretty much Halloween. September and October definitely felt like Halloween months and you always got the absolute most out of them that you could; that holiday filled your little goth heart with joy fit enough to burst!

Slipping into your dorm room, you tried to be as quiet as possible not to wake your roommate. She was a wild card and you never knew what would set her off, but boy was she not nice if woken up too early. You did not want to suffer this girl's wrath and so you got undressed as quietly as possible and slipped into bed. You'd shower in the morning and check how much laundry you had to do. Worst case scenario, Penguin would have to wait an hour or so while you washed something. Finally curling up under the sheets, your bed had never felt so good and you drifted away quickly, eager to wash today's events away with blissful dreams.

"(Y/n)! (Y/N)!!! WAKE UP!"

You flinched as you were jostled awake, blinking open bleary eyes. A girl with brown pigtails and large chocolate eyes hovered over you. She looked annoyed and was only growing more impatient the longer it took you to wake up.

"Pudding? What? WHAT?!" You gasped as she shook you again with the strength to rattle your innards.

"(Y/n), have you seen my apron?!" Her voice was full of panic.

You sat up as she flew off you, back to flinging clothes around in her frantic search. "Did you look under the bed?"

Pudding shot you a dirty look, but she checked anyway. "It's not- AHA!" A bright white apron with a little custard embroidered on the breast hung from her dainty fingertips. "I'm saved! Thanks, (Y/n)."

You rubbed an eye and yawned. "You never check under the bed, Pudding. This has happened like three times already."

"I don't understand how it keeps getting under there." Pudding protested and pulled it on. "I have class soon. I couldn't afford to have it go missing."

It was already ten in the morning, the time flicking on to the screen of your phone when you reached for it. You had two texts waiting for you and you responded to each in turn.

Penguin🐧: Morning! Class got canceled today so I'm able to hang out a little early, if you wanna

Y: hey I just woke up. I can come meet you in a little bit, maybe half an hour?

Penguin🐧: Sounds good. I'll be outside the bistro. I'm bringing my brother, hope you don't mind

Y: np see you soon :D

You closed that text and opened the next, a groan escaping you the moment you saw the words.

+1-332-740-1733: Good morning, (Y/n). I have reserved a table at Totto 34 for us. I will pick you up at six. Be sure to be ready on time and dress accordingly.
