'Where the hell are they?!' Atemu had finally gotten out of class, finished the test, the unexpected survey, and survived and escaped the group of fan girls, and just because he was too slow to finish all he had to do!Joey had sent a text to Atemu saying that they'll meet up on the roof, and when he went where they were no where to be seen. Right at that moment he got another text,
Hey Atemu! We went to go get lunch at Burger World, we'll bring you something too! Be back in 10! See ya!
This was already 15 minutes ago, and he still couldn't find them. He had already checked the roof again, main enterance, the cafeteria, the office, and the south, east and west wings. 'They better be somewhere in the North, or else they're going to get it!'
Sadly, they were there, and right after that moment, he received another text from Joey:
Hey, where are you? We're waiting for you on the roof, got here 5 minutes ago!
A dark aura had surrounded Atemu, 'They barely got here!!??', Atemu made his way to the direction of the roof. 'That's it! They probably took so long because that stomach of Joey's! He going to get it for being-'
As he passed the Music room, he heard a sound...a piano? Even though it was normal to hear some of the music club practing, no one in the club played the piano. He had heard that as soon at they received the piano, they were going to try to find someone as its player.
Now curious, he silently enter the classroom, what he saw took his breathe away. The figure had a childish look, both very cute and beautiful. He kind of had the same type of hair as he did, only it was amythest and didn't have lighting streaks. His skin was pale, and it looked like it was soft as a pearl as he continued to sing. He took the opportunity to get his phone and record the whole scene.
What captured him truly was the boy's voice, in his opinion it sounded like an angel. He didn't notice that the boy had just sang the last the part of the song, but his hands didn't leave the keys. After seeing he was done, he hid his phone.
He smirked, "What a lovely voice you have, little one."
The reaction of the boy was priceless, he suddenly stopped, the notes going out of order. He still had his back turned towards him, and this made Atemu more curious.
"You played wonderfully, it almost sounded like it was from heaven itself."
The boy did not turn, but spoke instead, very quietly yet sweetly, "...Thank you...."
He started to crouch lower, as if he didn't want Atemu to see him. "Are you alright?," He asked as I walked toward him. It seemed that he noticed he was coming closer that he tried to look the other way. "Y-Yes, of c-course!"
He quickly stood up, looking down at the floor, "I'm sorry, I didn't know that someone was going to be here, excuse me." He quickly ran towards the door, but Atemu caught his wrist. He jumped back a little, facing him. What Atemu saw took his breath away.
The boy had the most palest face he have ever seen, yet his shining amethyst eyes and pink lips contrasted with his skin. He looked like a little kid, a sweet and innocent kid. "Ummm... Can you let me go please? You're hurting my wrist..." Atemu looked down and saw that his grip had tightened. "Sorry about that."
He let go and the kid started to rub his wrist. "Anyway," he looked up, "What are you doing here? Only members are really suppose to be here, are you one?" He shook his head, Atemu smiled and winked at him, "That's a shame, you sounded beautiful, both your talent and your voice." He looked away, yet he could still see his face. He was blushing, how cute.
"Thank you...Are you a band member here?" He laughed, smiling at him, while he looked quite confused. "Nope, but I just happen to know that they don't really like it when people come into their room ever since..." He trailed off, and he looked more confused and curious. "Ever since what?"
He quickly remembered how Barkua and Marik had snuck into the room of the music club and had put soap bubbles in the brass instruments, flour and itching powder on the string instruments, and... You don't want to know what they did with the percussion instruments!
"Never mind, anyway, I never seen you around, are you new here?" The boy nodded, "Yes." "What year?" "First year, freshman." Atemu smiled at him as if understanding, yet mentally struck his head against the wall, why did he had to be a first-year, and a very cute one! Yup, Atemu thought the new kid was very cute, but what he was mad about was the he would graduate soon, while the kid had a ways to go.
'Damn it! Oh well, that doesn't mean he can't be mine,' he thought with a mischievous smirk. "A-Anyway, I have to go, please excuse me...," the boy made his way around him, he didn't even noticed that the kid was trying to get away!
"Wait, what's your name?!" Wow, that sounded at bit desperate. The kid had already reached the door, but Atemu quickly got hold of him once more. The kid looked back, his eyes pleading to Atemu to let him go. When the boy saw that the other wouldn't budge, he sighed.
"Yugi...my name is Yugi."
Yugi, huh? Atemu smiled, "Well than Yugi, nice to meet you, I'm At--" The bell had suddenly rang, and the boy saw his chance to escape. "Hold up! Wait!," Atemu called, but the kid had already disappeared around the corner. He sighed, but smiled.
'Oh well, we're bound to meet again soon, and when that happens,' he turned and started walking back to class, 'I'll make sure that you're mine...'
to be continued...
