When Cameron got home after school, he grabbed his notebook and began to draw.
He continued to sketch Courtney like he did quite often.
The only people who knew about those drawings were Courtney and Mr Desinger.
He could never tell his grandparents. They'd go crazy.

But he didn't care.
He continued to sketch away as he smiled.

When he was done, and he got a text message from Courtney.

They then talked through text for hours and hours.

There was then another text message from Courtney. One that he wasn't exactly fond of.

'I have to go. Sorry. JSA stuff'
She said.
'It's okay! I'll see you tomorrow?' He replied.
'Yeah! Bye!' She replied as Cameron put his phone down.

Courtney got her suit and got ready to do patrol.

Things were weird between her and the rest of the JSA after her interaction with Cameron.
Especially when Sylvester heard about it. She had to spend hours explaining to him that Cameron knew nothing and that everything was perfectly fine, but in the end he was still a little suspicious.

But it didn't matter, did it?

The next day at school, Courtney opened her locker to see a light blue envelope with a star next to a flower on it.
She smiled, knowing it was from Cameron.
She opened it to see a bunch of the drawings he made of her.

She then put it away, noticing Yolanda walk over.
"What's that?" Yolanda asked, seeing Courtney hide something under her books.
"Nothing. I was just putting my books down" she said.

Later that day, Courtney went over to Cameron's house to do homework together.
They sat next to each other on his bed.

"Ugh this history homework is KILLING me!" Courtney said.
"It can't be that bad" Cameron said, turning his head to look at what she was doing.
"Oh yeah. That is bad" he added.
"Ugh I'm gonna fail!" Courtney said, putting her hand on her face.

"No, you won't. You're smart" Cameron said.
Courtney blushed.
"You are to" she replied.
The room went silently and Cameron started to lift his hand to the side of her face.
They then started to lean in

But the door suddenly opened and Cameron put his hand down quickly as the two moved away from each other.

"G-Grandma!" Cameron exclaimed.
"Were you two about to- kiss???" Cameron's grandmother, Lily asked.

"Lily. Leave them be" Cameron's grandfather said.
"But-," Lily started.
"I'm sure they will be fine" he said.
"Courtney, would you like to stay for dinner?" Cameron's grandfather asked.
"Sure! I'll ask my mom!" Courtney said.
After texting Barbra, she got a reply a couple seconds later.
"She said it's okay!" Courtney said.
"Great! Lily, why don't we get started on that?" Cameron's grandfather asked before they left and closed the door.

"Well that was, interesting" Cameron said.
"Yeah" Courtney said nervously.
"Well. At least you get to stay for dinner!" Cameron said happily.
"Yeah!" Courtney replied.

Things were about to get a bit awkward.
