~Chapter 13~

I'm in 2nd period and I've just been staring at the wall the entire time. life really sucks, everything would be perfectly fine if dad wasn't here, I don't understand why mom got back together with him in the first place, she knows how he treated us and she's still gonna get back with him?! it doesn't make any sense.

"Amara pay attention or you're going to fail" the teacher says aggravated

I just roll my eyes and act like I'm working in my notebook, as Rihanna said fake it till you make it, that was cringy but whatever.

-After class-

"hey, Amara!!" Haley says running towards me

"hey" I smile

"ok so there is this party Friday night and I got invited but they said I could bring people with me if I wanted to and I want you to come with me!" she squeals

"uh I don't know, you know I'm not really the party type" I say

"Please, I really want you to come plus maybe you can meet someone" she smirks

"fine I'll go but I'm not going to be looking for anyone okay?" I say

"fuck yeah" she grins

"ok well we need to head to class dumbass" I laugh and shake my head

"yeah you're right, let's gooo" she skips

she's so stupid sometimes.

-lunch-

"then he asked me to be his girlfriend" Haley continues to rant

"Really? did you say yes?" I ask

"obviously" she says

Billie walks over and says "hey Amara, is it okay if I sit with you guys?"

"not at all" I say

Haley looks at me and gives me a look so I flip her off

"so Billie, you and Amara have gotten pretty close recently huh?" she smirks

I glare at her and she laughs

"yeah she's really cool, I see why you're friends with her" she tells Haley

"Nah she's a bitch, I don't think we're talking about the same person" she says

Billie looks at her confused

"shut up Haley, she's just messing with you bil" I assure her

"oh ok" Billie laughs

"so Billie, you going to that party this Friday?" Haley asks

"I'm not sure, I don't really know anyone here so I was just gonna stay home" she says

"well you know us, why don't you just come with me and Amara?" Haley asks

"I mean sure as long as it's okay with you guys then yeah" she reply's

"of course, we would love to have you"

"I know Amara definitely will" Haley adds and winks at me

"oh my god Haley stop!" I put my hands over my face

"just ignore her" I tell Billie

they both laugh and we get up to throw away our garbage, we all walk to class together since all of us have this class.

we have been in this class for about 15 minutes now and Billie leans over and whispers "you wanna skip?"

"you know what fuck it, why not" I tell her
