Rewind: "Okay, good night. I normally sleep with you, but you're recovering, so it's okay. Call Thoma if you need him, and he'll take care of your needs." He received one more kiss from Ayato before she went. His face turned as crimson as possible, and he began to lose control of his emotions as he tried to process what had happened. Ayato kissed me. Itto stroked his lips and mumbled. Even though it was a brief kiss, Itto could taste it, and had a bittersweet flavor.
Ayato closed the door of Itto's makeshift room and he quickly ran to his were Thama, Ayaka, a girl named Yoimiya, and Sayu. Ayato pushed Sayu off the bed and laid down on the bed. It was silent before a very angry ninja spoke her mind,
"So did it go well? I hope it didn't" Ayato and Sayu had a staring contest, before Ayato flashed a smile,
"1. I can fire you at any time or lower your pay, 2. It went amazing thank you very much, well better than your height at least" Sayu rolled her eyes as she stuffed her mouth with Dango, Rice cakes, and Sakura cookies,
"I know it is sweet and all but what if he found out that you caused his attack what would he like may be one of the nicest people you have ever met but even he has his boundaries!" Ayaka stopped fighting with Sayu for Dango and the food came out of Sayu's mouth,
"You did WHAT!" Sayu's face was in pure shock, Everyone else except for Thoma who learned this earlier and wanted to talk about it with everyone, Yoimiya was almost in tears,
"You... made them do that!" She was about to start sobbing and Ayaka gave Yoimiya a hug.
"Let me explain this simply, I didn't do anything, if anything Itto would be mad at you two," Ayato pointed at Sayu and Yoimiya, "Ayato pointed at Sayu and Yoimiya, "After all, you guys were the ones that lead him to that place you know, "Sayu and Yoimiya looked at each other with disbelief,
"I didn't lead him to anything! All I did was ask him to go get me some w o o d," Yoimiya looked down as she and everyone around her realized that she sent Itto to get beat up, not Ayato, Yoimiya. Yoimiya started to fumble for words as everyone stared at her,
"Okay, what did I do, I wasn't in town and I never left the woods," Everyone nodded in agreement to the tiny ninja
"But you left to print the showed the soldiers which lead them to the estate and if we hadn't got Itto in the estate any sooner, he would have been caught," Yoimiya and Sayu looked at each other both on the verge of tears,
"But how did you know that!" Ayaka said hugging Yoimiya who started to cry again,
"I simply used your mistakes for my own gain," Ayato said "Now that we are done with this conversation, please leave my room" As everyone files out of the room, Ayaka shot her older brother a glare before hugging Yoimiya and Slamming the door. Ayato thought about what he said, he was a bit harsh but it had to be said. But, with that glare from Ayaka, it seems like she might be trying to plan something. It doesn't matter unless she tells Itto, but she wouldn't, right?
A week later
After a week of being in pain, having a horrible fever and a bad headache, but now Itto was free at last from his sickness. Did his side still hurt? Yes But did Itto care? No. Itto wondered the mansion before a hand pulled him into a dark room. He tried to fight but many people latched on to him. The light was turned on by the tired tanooki ninja, Sayu. Itto looked done to see Yoimiya holding his feet, Ayaka trying her best to hold his arms together, and Thoma who was holding his head. They quickly sat him down with tea and snacks, Itto quickly started to dig in as everyone but Sayu (who was sleeping on the small bed that was in Ayaka's room) watched him as he ate, whispering for a good amount of the time,
"Itto, do you like my older brother?" Itto spit his tea like a fountain and started to cough.
"Well, of course, I mean I have to like him as a friend to be fake dating!" Itto looked down as his face turned red. Yoimya and Ayaka thought the same thing These Bitches, gay they said to each with their gay energy.
"Okay then what do you like about him 'as a friend"" Thoma asked with a hint of laughter behind it,
"Well, his calm and collected and he almost never panics, He is super pretty, like SUPER PRETTY. His light blue hair is gorgeous, and the mole near his mouth is super cute, and!" Itto rambled on and on and on, far most of the time Ayaka, Thoma, and Sayu thought that Ayato was lying with the way he was acting. Yoimiya on the other hand thought this was adorable and "relationship goals" she seemed to have forgotten about Ayato gaslighting her like some Wagu beef.
"This is all funny and cool but you don't know anything about Ayato," Sayu said half-asleep,
"What do you mean by that?"
"After all he's the one that had THEM attack you"
"What- are you joking?" Itto yelled, not waiting for an answer before running out of the room. No one ran after the red oni, Ayaka smiled and Sayu started to laugh. Thoma's face was a bit coinfected but he giggled a bit under his breath and Yoimiya had a big smile as she ate the Dango from the table,
"SAYU DID YOU PUT THE FOOD YOU ALREADY ATE BACK ON THE TABLE!" she screamed as she dropped the slimy and sticky mochi on the floor.
