Hello! You're probably here for Harry Potter oneshots, aren't you? (I hope so, because it would be weird if you came in here for something else). I just have a few quick things before this book starts! This section won't be as updated as the news feed so, for updates, go there.

...

My first few oneshots are crappy as heck, please don't judge the whole book off of them! Also, I would recommend ignoring my commentary at the end of the oneshots (sometimes) because I'm a harsh critic or I don't see the problems after writing them but I've gone back to read some and my opinions changed. So yeah.

If you're wanting news, head to the news page after this. It's not needed at all but it'll just give some announcements for y'all.

Dedicated to everlovingdeer because I'm reading their oneshots and I've fallen in love with them. I was then inspired to write my own for mostly one reason, not including the fact that I read deer's. Most oneshot books are very short, I don't understand why though? How can you have character development in two minutes? So, after reading deer's I decided, I should write longer oneshots too! And here I am.

...

I know that a lot of y'all love the use of "Y/N" but I find it annoying, since it breaks up the story (to me). I don't insert names when I read it, I literally read the two letters then move on. In this book, I use last names because, for me, it's easier to imagine a different last name for yourself than inserting the many things in other oneshots. (Like Y/N, L/N, E/C, H/C, etc.)

...

This book isn't going to have stuff in it so if that's what you're here for, you can leave.

...

These oneshots will probably average around 30 minutes but some will be shorter or longer

...

Some characters I like more so there'll definitely be more of them in the oneshots I pick (for example, Draco Malfoy, the Weasley twins, etc.)

This doesn't mean the book will be full of them, though, I might just lean more towards those characters when picking through requests and such.

I originally updated once a week and that worked out well for quite a while but, with schoolwork and writer's block getting in my way, updates will be much farther apart. I just don't have the motivation to update that quickly anymore since my focus is more on original works now. I now have a very irregular updating schedule and I apologize for that so feel free to ask when new oneshots will be out if it's been a while! It'll help give me a boost to write faster!

It would be lovely if y'all could refrain from swearing and such in the comments. I'm not asking you to not do it at all, I would just like it if it could be toned down! You may be thinking why though, and it's because I dislike it. No, I'm not some little kid who dislikes harsh words, I was just raised this way. Also, try not to argue. Friendly arguments like which ship is better would be completely fine, just don't start up a whole fight.

This will feel pretty American because I am American. I, however, have been able to pick up basic British sayings so, hopefully, it doesn't sound bad. Feel free to correct my very American ways of writing in this because I want to make these the best possible! I have been able to adopt things like 'Mum' for my writing but I haven't been able to do things like 'colour' because it messes with my normal way of writing when I return to it

...

I love linking oneshots together so be ready to look out for those!

...

Please don't be a silent reader! I would love to hear from you all!

...

Anyways, enjoy this oneshots book!
