"A date?" Shiver asked, "I- I- hhh...-" They looked from side to side and their face turned red.
"I mean, only if you want to," you began to nervously second guess yourself, every nervous look they shot you made your stomach curl with fear. Did you say something wrong? "Sorry, sorry. I'm sorry Shiver It was a bad idea. If you don't wanna go on a date it's fine, I don't wanna make y-"
Suddenly, Shiver interrupted, "No. Don't apologize. I would... uhm like to uh go on a date with you." She awkwardly smiled. Fuck I was just flirting, is this serious now? I mean, I really do like them but... it's always the same story whenever I fall in love, the same story of betrayal... Shiver thought.
EEEEEEE!!! OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY REALLY SAID YES!! .////. Emotions flooded through your brain and you began to sweat. You noticed how, after you brought up dating, they had unwrapped their arms from your waist and scooted farther away. Oh shit... are they uncomfortable around me? They were sending so many different mixed messages.
"Uhm, where would you like to go...?" Asked Shiver, realizing their body language was pushing you away.
"We could go to the Crab-N-go, and then to the shops in Inktopolis square? Liked Naut Couture?" You suggested.
"I would love that." She smiled and wrapped her arms around your waist again. Shivers sent through your body, accompanied by an unbearable heat.
"Good night, Rookie." Shiver said smugly.
You sighed and snuggled closer to Shiver. "Good night love."
