ANYWAYS- I'm also sorry about making so many fucking parts for this date, I'm to lazy to make one big chapter instead of splitting it up into parts. cries

"Your lover?" You repeated. The words felt strange once they left your mouth, leaving a strange after taste. Everything was happening too fast. You met Shiver but only yesterday. Of course you knew her before then, but never would you have known how charming she really was in person. The way they smiled, the way they laughed, everything about them was simply perfect. At least, to you it was. Deep inside your stomach you felt there was emotion of sorrow. Shiver was perfect, but what were you? Nothing but an ordinary squid who just happened to stumble upon this strange situation. 

"I don't know about this Shiver." You paused, looked into her eyes, and then continued. "You're just so perfect, And this isn't me looking for your praise or anything but, I'm just not. I could never give you the lover you deserve. "

"Oh, c'mon y/n, you know that's not true." Shiver looked at you for your agreement but you just turned away. It hurt you more than anything to turn away from her beautiful face but you had to do what was 'best'. Your cold turn prompted Shiver to scooch forward. She put both hands up against either side of your face and pulled you forward. You and Shiver's forehead touched and you could feel her breathing against you. 

Her warm breath blurred your vision, "If you weren't the most perfect, lovely, and beautiful squid, I wouldn't have fallen head over heels for you. I don't normally fall in love with someone like this, in fact I have never fallen for someone like this. I should've waited until I knew you better before asking you to be my love but I just couldn't wait any longer." Shiver's hand felt warm on your face and you felt yourself calm down. Being in her arms felt more comforting than anything you've ever felt in your life.

You put a hand on hers and rested your head into her palm, "Wow, I don't even know what to say."

"Is it that you'll be mine and love me forever?" Shiver giggled. Her smile was so radiant it almost forced you to smile back. 

Teasingly you responded, "I suppose" with a large sigh. She looked back at you with a loving glare and you shook your head. "Oh of course I will Shiver. I love you so much. You're beyond perfect and I'll be the best lover I can." 

She brought you into a warm embrace. Her arms wrapped around your waist and gripped to your back as she rested her head on your shoulder. You hugged her back and smiled as you clenched down on her bandaged top, squeezing her into an inescapable embrace.

"I love you so much."

"I love you too, Rookie."
