Ever since my dad found out about Cassie's daughter; Kennedy's date with Josh I've never seen him as angry as he was these last couple of months . He was always walking on eggshells and getting mad at the slightest thing Cassie would do or any of us would do.

Kenny didn't even live with them she was 25 and had her own apartment she used to visit them and even hang out with me and Rylee but that day we were at my moms house , me and Rylee were dressing up to go out with  Kenny josh and Theo when Ryle came unexpectedly catching them both kissing . He stood there with no expressions on his face turned around after a couple minutes and left.

Kenny didn't really want Ryle to find out since josh was Atlas's brother but he technically couldn't do anything

" For god's sake Kennedy why would you want to fucking marry a homeless guy!" I heard dad speak in an angry tone

I stood on the other side of the door trying to listen on the conversation between my dad Kennedy and Cassie

"First of all he is not a homeless guy and second of all homeless or not I have the right to date and love anyone I want it is none of your business you "

" get out " he replied to her in a calm tone before screaming the same words aggressively at her face making me flinch , the door busted open making me move out if the way

As Kennedy headed to the door she turned around looked at me motioning me to follow her so I grabbed my phone off the counter when he stopped me

"you are not going anywhere"

"Dad me and Kennedy are supposed to meet Rylee at the park" I rolled my eyes

"did you just roll your eyes at me"

"sorry now let me go please"

"don't talk to me with an attitude and you're not going anywhere do you understand" he answered angrily " now I suggest you Kennedy to go before you make things worse "

Cassie made Kennedy leave which made me even more mad I went storming in my room and slamming the door behind me . Not even one minute later my dad barged in screaming

"I don't care whatever the fuck you say I'm your dad and you better fucking respect me you don't go around yelling and slamming doors at my face do you understand " he screamed pushing me against the wall I was ready for him to hit me squeezingmy eyes but he didn't and backed away so I used that moment to  move away from him

"I'm calling mom to come get me" I whispered

"look I'm sorry" he answered frustratedly , I didn't reply

"can I please just go with Kennedy she's going to mom's house please?"

"why do you want to go with her so badly?"

"why wouldn't I she's like a sister to me!"

"A sister who is sleeping with homeless people"

"what is wrong with you she's not sleeping with a homeless guy and even if she is It's none of your business for fucks sake dad why do you always have to ruin things!" I exclaimed angrily when my phone started ringing I looked at who it was and it was Atlas I hung up hoping he wouldn't notice but my dad clearly noticed that because he got even more mad

" What is with this stupid boy and his brother "

" God dad It's been 15 years and you're still not over mom loving atlas or something It's your fault she's not with you get over it and let me leave now!" I screamed at his face feeling guilty immediately after when suddenly he pushed me back to the wall grabbing me by the throat punching me making me sob for help. Cassie entered the room screaming at the sight making him realize what he just did

"I'm sorry Emmy I lost control I'm so so sorry please forgive me"

I nodded "please leave me alone"

"I'm so sorry"

"I'm sorry too" I responded quietly

He left my room ,  I thought he was going to kill me. I knew my mom would go crazy if I called her so I took my phone dialling Atlas's number

"Hi Em!What's up?" I immediately start crying when he speaks . I cover
