29 - Shocking

This chapter was somehow to write and I guess you'll see why. Anyways please enjoy.

Damilola's POV
Daniel would soon arrive and this got me anxious. I didn't know why but I had that feeling. Every single person I invited showed up which kept me positive. Daniel's mum was even around but his dad couldn't make it. The house looked amazing and this was all thanks to my amazing friends. I couldn't have pulled this off without them. I had changed to my own party wear. I got something nice for myself; something that Daniel wouldn't be able to take his eyes off me. I was completely his so anything for him. I had also gotten something very special for him which was my personal birthday gift to him. I was so certain he was going to love it. It would be the best gift ever.

I was counting down slowly.........5, 4, 3, 2, 1.......the front door opened and as soon as Daniel walked in.. there were shouts from every corner.
"Happy birthday!!!"Everyone shouted.

Daniel seemed confused at first as he walked in with kola beside him. But then he realized what was going on. I went to him as I hugged him and whispered into his ear;
"Happy birthday my world, I didn't forget".
After then, I wanted to kiss him but too many eyes on the both of us.
There was this special smile on his face when he looked at me; he was certainly not expecting this at all.
He walked towards the guest as everyone celebrated him.
I was happy he loved it.

Daniel's POV
I couldn't believe what happened. I actually thought she was unawares it was birthday as she didn't say or do anything. I went to hangout with my friends before arriving back to see she was planning a surprise all along. I suspected something was up but certainly not this. Kola was aware too; he was planning something with my wife and I wasn't aware; that's fine.

My whole gang were around as well as my mum and few workers in my company and many others. I felt really happy and this was all Damilola's handwork. That's why I love her; she always seem to surprise me all the time.
The party began immediately. Kola was in charge. It was his specialty. He was the party guy.
All attention had shifted a little from me so it was time to search for the master planner. I was told she went up to pick up somethings so I quickly ran to catch up with her. I found the room door a little bit open. I peeped in to check and found my darling close to her wardrobe.
I walked in then grabbed her from behind. She turned to see who it was. On sighting me, she placed her hands on my shoulder as she said,
"How did you like your surprise?, I'm so certain you would have thought I actually forgot about it"

"I'm speechless right now, I just want you to know that I love you, you tricked me and had no idea this was what you were planning"I answered her. I wasted no time in capturing her lips into mine. I didn't want to let go so Damilola did instead. I stared at her; she was looking too hot for this party. I didn't want anyone looking lustfully at my wife. She was mine alone.
"Change your clothes and come down fast, we're all waiting"Damilola said as she had a grin on her face when she saw the way I looked at her.
"Your clothes are on the bed, I selected it specially for this occasion, so be quick"She added before she left the room.

I just smiled as I got into my dress. I checked out myself in the mirror and saw how handsome I was looking. The dress was perfect. Damilola had the eye for clothes. Soon after I went down. Kola had overtaken my party. That's my guy.

Damilola's POV
I sighted Daniel from where I stood. He was looking hot, handsome, classy and cute. I can't believe all of him belonged to me and I alone. He got all the attention of the ladies. I couldn't even look away.
Kola sighted him and brought him to where he was. The party began from there. I was so happy the whole party was successful. This was just the first surprise. I couldn't wait to show him the other surprise.

I had a little video caption I wanted to play for everyone to see about him. It contained his childhood memories. From when he was a toddler until now on his 25th birthday. His mum was the one who helped me with it. That was going to be before the party ends. Couldn't wait.

Unknown POV
I couldn't seem to take my eyes of Daniel. He was supposed to be mine not that ungrateful bitch's own. I was going to have him no matter what. I couldn't just wait for my plan to come into action. I hope my partner had done his part. It all lies on him now.

Third person POV
It was getting to the end of the party and for Daniel's clip to be played. Daniel looked at Damilola who stood besides him with their fingers intertwined. He was curious to know what next she was up too.

5....4.....3....2....1........

Damilola got dumbfounded with what she saw next. Daniel was confused. The guest seemed perplexed. In the middle of the guest, someone seemed satisfied with what was happening.
Damilola removed her fingers from Daniel's with so much force and looked at him with disgust as she ran as fast as she could into her room jamming the door behind her. Tears were running down her cheeks.
Was she dreaming or what was going on?.
