+ her mother was a witch who served the demon Lilith. she named Lillian after Lilith to honor the demon, but was killed by said demon, leaving Lillian in the care of her uncle, John Winchester.

+ during the scuffle between heaven and hell (seasons 4-5), the angels pronounced her the new vessel of Lucifer or Michael when both Winchester brothers refused their roles. while they tried to stop the Apocalypse and stop the Archangels, Michael took Adam as his vessel and Lucifer temporarily used Lillian as his. Sam eventually said yes to Lucifer and Lillian was saved, but that was after Sam jumped into the Cage with Lucifer, Adam, and Michael
+ in season 7, Lillian was sent to Purgatory with Dean and Cas. while there, she "wedded" them after they found Cas and Benny acted as Dean's best man. Dean denies this ever happened but no one ever believes him
+ Lillian is the first person Jack trusts after he's found by the Winchesters since the two are half humans and he sees her as someone who understands him better than anyone
