GENDER: demigirl

SEXUALITY: unlabeled

PRONOUNS: she/they

GAME: The Outlast Trials (3rd game)

PATIENT/MURKOFF: she originally started as a patient before becoming a partner with Murkoff. she participates in being the killer in one of the trials all patients have to complete. she plays an imposter in her assigned trial while also keeping her mask of innocence

PERSONALITY: Before becoming a demented worker for Murkoff in their human experimentation trials, Naomi was rather shy and kind. She did everything she could to help her fellow participants in the trials and even helped complete trials herself. Naomi could be described as selfless previously, and was reliable in stealth and confusing the enemy. After killing the antagonist in her last trial, it was like something awoke in Naomi. Murkoff made her into one of the antagonists who got to kill patients. That was when her personality changed completely to one being psychotic and twisted. Naomi still played at being shy and innocent when the other patients would be participating in her trial, and that ended in their downfall

DIAGNOSIS: depression, bipolar personality disorder, psychotic episodes

BASIC KNOWLEDGE

+ Naomi is known as The Imposter. In her trial, she pretends to be a patient, is equipped with the same night vision equipment and rigs, and is capable of performing like the PLAYER. Because she portrays herself as a helpless patient, another antagonist who goes by Runner hunts each PLAYER except Naomi. In her trial, there is a total of 8 PLAYERS and she masquerades as a "left behind" patient

+ The theme of the trial is a large cornfield and barn. Bodies are put on display as scarecrows while other bodies litter the field and barn. A house stands in the distance, and shed is to the left. There's mannequins in the house, barn, shed, and around the tractors and trucks. Collectibles can be found in hidden areas and clues to finding Naomi's file are hidden in the scarecrows. The file is hidden in the hidden basement underneath the farmhouse. Once the trap door is found, the PLAYER(s) must find the correct key to open it. This leads to them searching the bodies on the scarecrow crosses.

+ Naomi is placed into the Trial like the other patients: through a pod from the Sleep Room. She wears a plain dark grey crew neck sweater, a yellow and black plaid skirt with ripped black leggings, and brown boots. Her short bob is always down and pinned back to keep her bangs out of her face. Her face has a few scares and one is so jagged it left little indention in her skin

+ Naomi uses a small switch blade which she hides in her hoodie pocket. Her kill move is slitting the PLAYER's throat, stabbing their eyes out and then their neck, or bashing their head in with bricks

+ Once the PLAYERS figure out she's not an innocent patient by finding the Imposter's file, the Trial room will go completely dark and it's all about stealth and keeping an eye out for Naomi. To escape, the PLAYERS have to hinder or somehow kill Naomi to get to the transport pods at the entrance of the trial.

+ The experiment of Naomi's trial is to see if the PLAYER will kill her whether or not they see her as a teenager who needs help or follow the violent nature of "kill or be killed." Another aspect is of the PLAYERS will kill one another out of anxiety or to be the last one standing. If there is one more PLAYER standing, they have to either escape Naomi or kill her. Because of how ruthless, brutal, and scary she can be, most go for escaping to the pods. There have only been a handful who have tried to kill her, but it ended with their guts on the ground and their throats slit

+ Not much is known about Naomi Kline, but what is known in the Murkoff databases is she was a runaway teen who killed her foster parent. She has no memory of the incident nor does she remember why she did it. All she knew was Murkoff helped her and now she gets to kill people freely and for fun

+ Her story begins when a new group of PLAYERS, or patients, are admitted into Murkoff and she recognizes one of the patients as an old friend in the foster home she once lived in. It all goes downhill from there and Naomi is given the choice of freedom and getting actual help, or staying with Murkoff to do what she did best: kill and torture people
