Chapter 7

Chaeyoung's POV

While showering, my bandage got wet and I needed to change the bandage but I don't have enough time as I am already running late for my office if I am considering breakfast outside. I haven't eaten anything since last night too so I am hungry as hell.

So I just got quickly ready, wore a blue Shirt, along with a vest and a black suit. Fed my fish, checked all the windows and electric outlet and everything I do before leaving for office. After that I locked my door, went to my garage which is a separate unit outside my house, opened the garage took out my car. My garage has the automatic door system so I dont have to get out to close the garage. I still haven't band aid the finger, though I removed the wet one. So now I am driving with one finger up.

While driving, I decided to go to a nearby cafe or resturant where I can have my breakfast before going to the office. A new barista/cafe opened near by, flew blocks away from my office. I decided to have my breakfast there, I heard they make great english breakfast so I decided to try it out. So I parked my car outside, and damn there's a line. I didn't feel like standing in the line as there are atleast 6 people before me, and was about to leave the cafe when I spotted someone in the line standing on the 2nd postion of the line. I was contemplating if I should ask her for a favour or not. I took a step toward only to back up and decided against it and right when I was about to turn away and get out of the shop, she called me

"Hey Mr son" Mina said

"oh hello miss myoui, goodmorning" I said with a nervous chuckle

"What are you doing here?Came here for breakfast?" She asked with a great smile on her face

"umm, yeah but there's a huge line infront, so I think I will probably try some other place" I said taking steps back 

"oh, I can order for you if you want, what do you want? English Breakfast and coffee?" she said like she already knew what I was about to order.

"umm, actually that's my order, how do you know?" I asked as I am curious how she read my mind

"well you look like you will have some sophisticated English breakfast, hehe" she chuckled, probably proud because she got my order right.

"well that would be great if you can order, and for coffee, latte please" I told her my order

she nodded and turned her face to the front as it was her turn now to order. I decided to go and stand beside her.

"one english breakfast with latte, and a french toast with cocoa coffee please" she told her order 

"okay, so your total will be 35,576.50 Won"

"here" I gave my card to pay for the breakfast for both of us. I mean I can do this much, she already helped me get my order quickly, and the bill is mostly because of my order.

"hey! you don't have to pay, I can pay for us, you know our company pays us well right?" She said  that jokingly, but seems like she genuinely wanted to pay for that. 

"I am little old fashioned so I can't ask the lady to pay for it when I am here you know?" I said, in response she laughed while shaking her head, and covering her mouth. 

"your order will be ready in few minutes, please be seated, we will serve it to your table"

"okay thank you" and we both went and sat near the window table with only two seat for two people, the table is comparatively small too.

"So, all set for the party tonight?" I asked trying to start a conversation

"yup, I guess so. Though I don't have much to wear for tonight, I wish I could have gone shopping because otherwise I have to wear something formal office dress" she said with a little pout on her face.
