Florence didn't sleep a wink that night. She tossed, and turned, laying awake in bed with thoughts of the man who showed up at her door.

"Florence! Please open up." Chris begs from the other side of the door.

Florence sat down in front of the closed door, silent tears streaming down her face. She's shaking her head, trying to stop herself from thinking about opening the door.

"Look, I-i shouldn't have left the way I did. I want to talk. Please, open up."

She lets out a quite sob. She stays silent other than that, refusing to speak to the man who left her.

He didn't leave for an hour. He stood outside of her door, waiting for her to maybe open it, for an hour. He got the message eventually though and left, going who knows where.

She hears another knock at her door as she gets herself ready for work. Preparing for the worst, she looks out and finds the Sheriff and Deputy Parrish standing outside.

"Sheriff? Deputy? Can I help you with something?" She asks as she opens the door.

"Uh, we received a call from one of your neighbors last night about a suspicious man at your door for over an hour. I had circled by and noticed he was gone by the time I got here. I just wanted to check in, see if you were okay" Stilinski said to the woman.

Florence gives him a warm smile. "I'm fine Sheriff. You didn't have to come all this way, I can take care of myself"

"Oh, I know you can. But Deputy Parrish over here insisted. I was all set to give you a call. I know if it was serious, Your lovely nephew would have been right over" Stilinski says chuckling

Parrish turns red. "I-i uh just wanted to make sure you were safe ma'am."

Florence finds his flustered look adorable. "Thank you for that Deputy, but I can assure you, it was nothing. Just an old boyfriend making an appearance trying to talk. Nothing bad."

The Sheriff turns serious. "So, he's back in town?" Florence sighs and nods. "Is it about what Derek told us about last night?"

She shrugs. "Maybe, or it could be about what Stiles and Scott found a few days ago, you know 'swimming in the fountain of youth' thing."
