The day went by with Karasuno losing yet another practice match which made the team have to do yet another penalty. The day was getting hotter as time passed, the three managers prepared the team's energy drinks as they did their penalty. Emi remebered that it has been almost three weeks since Hinata's and Kageyama's fight. However, she wasn't worried about them, knowing that both would be talking to each other soon. She also checked her phone in the morning, and congradulated Seidou for winning against Akikawa by emailing Chris and Sawamura, and wished the team luck as they prepared to play against the dark horse school, Yakushi High School.

Again, Karasuno was playing against Fukurodani, when Asahi made a point with his serving.

"Asahi-senpai, nice serve!" Emi exclaimed.

"A service ace!" Hitoka said.

"It might be slow going, but everyone is starting to make fewer mistakes," Kiyoko concluded as she looked over Emi's notes.

"I know right? Their practices are finally paying off, and they narrow the point with every set they play," Emi said with a smile.

Emi watched carefully as Karasuno played against Nekoma, and took a few notes on both teams. She watched as Hinata felt a little annoyed at how he was playing, knowing that he was thinking about ways to improve. But what made her suprised was when Kageyama set the ball in a way that Hinata could at least touch it no matter how.

"Hey!" Hinata exclaimed, "You held back, didn't you?!"

"Held back? Me? At volleyball?" Kageyama said scarily and grabbed Hinata's shirt, "Say that again."

"Sensei," Emi looked at Takeda with a pleading expression.

"Excuse me. Can we get a time out?"

"That wasn't the set that would fall," Hinata spoke up making the whole team confused at his deduction.

"It wasn't?" Takeda asked the coach.

"I mean, it technically may not have been..." Ukai started, "I figure that all the sets so far have been falling down, but the last one had more of a parabolic curve," he observed.

"Hinata-kun hasn't been able to spike comfortably for a while, it's kinda understandable why he is so frustraded now," Emi added.

Ukai nodded at her words, "Kageyama may've subconciously been worried that Hinata would lose his rhythm."

"For Hinata-kun to notice such detail, he must really be frustraded right now," Emi said worriedly.

"Don't give up, Kageyama!" Hinata shouted surprising everyone, but Emi gave a small smile although Hinata looked angry. I guess I got worried for nothing, Emi thought to herself as she relaxed her shoulders.

During the night, Emi was once again helping Bokuto with his practices along with Kuroo, Akaashi, and Tsukishima. It was just the five of them until Bokuto noticed a certain orange haired boy by the entrance of the gym.

"Oh? Tsukki, Emi-chan, did you guys bring a friend today?" Bokuto asked.

"Pardon?/Hinata-kun!" Tsukishima and Emi said at the same time.

"What happened to your partner?" Tsukishima asked.

"Kageyama's practicing by himself again. I tried to have Kenma set for me, but he bailed after just five," Hinata answered.
