Why kan is in the gang (tw mentions of car crash and suicide): Kan had been with black and white a few years before they got separated, As they got older kan became aware of how the society treats him and others mostly people who are disabled, poor (etc), his mother had recently died in a car crash caused by men of tawi, while his dad has been in the hospital due to attempt of suicide, after kan's mother died, his dad has dealt with a lot of pressure causing the attempt to happen, kan tried to move on but being in the house he grew up in didnt help so he asked black if he can stay with him for a bit, which resulted in kan finding out about black and his little gang he soon told black about it, only to be invited in the gang, black didn't fully want him to join but let him stay
