" 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 "

Today was Valentine's Day, I was excited. Sero's mother was just as excited as I was. " we gotta decorate and invite family over " she said.

We decided it would be best to stay with his mother until he saved up to get us a house together, we both dropped out and started homeschooling.

" where's Sero? " she asked,

" I think he's upstairs, I'll get him " I said making my way up the stairs. I walked in to see him and Kiri playing video games " baby " I said, he turned to look at me; " your mother needs you " I said. He nodded " we'll play more later " he said to Kiri, he kissed my forehead made his way down the stairs, I was about to follow him before Kiri called out my name " yeah? " I answered, " can you help me.. ask mina to be my valentine? " he said rubbing his neck " just walk up and ask her " " that's hard for me, I don't like getting rejected " he said, I really didn't wanna let him down. " okay I'll help you " I said; his eyes perked up " thanks " he said smiling.

First we spent a couple minutes preparing his statement  " okay so you'll tell her that I liked you and I want you to be my valentine " I said, I pointed at him to repeat it " um.. mina I like you- I can't! This is too hard! " he whined, i face palmed " okay from the top " I said sighing.

About an hour later we were getting gifts for him to give to her " should I give her a shark plush, since sharks are cool " " Kiri that's gonna scare her away " I said chuckling, he awkwardly laughed " sorry " I sighed. I spotted a cute plushie " lets get that one " I said pointing towards it " okay " he agreed..

After about 2 hours he was finally ready, it was around maybe 9pm, I watched around the corner " um.. mina.. " he stuttered, he held out the gifts towards her " will you be my valentine? " he said, she chuckled and hugged him " yes I will! " she said, I softly smiled and headed up the stairs towards me and Sero's room. Once I walked in I was greeted with roses petals on the ground and balloons with candles and small music in the background. There was a bubble machine as well; I looked on the bed to see Sero " I've been sitting here for almost an hour haven't you got my texts? " he said, " no sorry " I said. " I've been texting you almost all day to come into the room. " he said, " im sorry I just didn't see your text " I said, " what have you been doing? " he asked me, " I was helping Kiri ask out mina for Valentine's Day " I said.

" but what about me? You didn't even tell me happy Valentine's Day " " you didn't either " I said placing my hand on my hip " don't play victim " I said, " im not playing victim I just wish you seen my texts, I wanted to spend the entire day with you but you got caught up with someone else's relationship " " isn't that your friend? When people ask me for something I get into it sometimes " I said.

" you know what.. it's fine " he said putting his hand on his head, " I'll be downstairs " he said. He brushed passed me and closed the door; I sighed sitting on the bed. My phone then pinged multiple times with Sero's text messages, why was I just now getting them? I changed out of my clothes and into something comfortable. I left everything just how it was and laid under the covers.

I turned on Cory and closed my eyes, whatever. He'll be fine.

I opened my eyes to hear the room door opening, " baby " I heard softly, I hummed letting him know I was awake, " I'm sorry " he said laying in the bed. He slowly caressed my shoulders " I shouldn't have been so bitchy about it " he said, " I'm sorry as well, I shouldn't have been ignoring you. " I mumbled, " are we good now? " he asked " hmmm I dunno " I said smirking, " it's still Valentine's Day, how about I show you how much I love you? " he said getting on top of me, " maybe .. " I said; he made an ' oh really? ' ( with like humming it, idk how to say it)

He lowered his head, " maybe you don't deserve it since you were ignoring me all day " " I do " I said, he gotten closer " show me then " those words were enough to turn me on. I flipped him over and sat on his lower waist, " really now? " I said rubbing his area.
