Babysitting

Ashton:

You were on your way to Ashton's house to spend the day with him, when he called you.

"Hello?" You put it on speaker phone since you were driving.

"Hi, babe. I have to watch Harry and Lauren today. Do you still want to come over?" You had not met his siblings yet, but you thought it would be fun.

"Yeah! I want to meet your brother and sister, Ash." You laughed as you heard him let out a breath.

"Okay, I'm going to try to get them to clean a bit. See you soon!" He rushed out. You said your goodbyes and ended the call.

Minutes later, you pulled up at Ashton's house. Ashton greeted you at the door before you could knock. He greeted you with a kiss on the cheek and hug before guiding you into his house.

"This is Lauren. She makes fun of me and says Calum is her favorite." He pointed to the girl that I had seen in many pictures with him.

"Hi, I'm [Y/N]." You smiled at her. She gave you a brief hug and sent a small smile before going back to the laptop sitting at the table in front of her.

"Harry is around here somewhere." Ashton muttered and began to walk around to look for him. After Ashton left the room, you awkwardly stood by a table with Lauren on the computer.

"You're Ashton's girlfriend, right?" She spoke up. You nodded as you looked over to her.

"He's a big dork, but he's nice." You smiled and agreed with her. Ashton called name, so you excused yourself and walked out.

"This is Harry. He's a cutie even though he thinks it's weird when I say that." Ashton introduced him. Harry's cheek turned red at the introduction and kicked at the ball he had at his feet. You laughed at the duo before introducing yourself to Harry.

"You're really pretty." He whispered when you hugged him. A smile broke out on your face as you thanked him. He is such a cutie.

Harry ran into the backyard and left you alone with Ashton. He was smiling as he looked at you. You laced your hand with his and followed as he led you into the backyard. Lauren soon joined and kicked a ball around with Harry.

"You and your siblings are just so cute. You really care for them," you stated. Ashton brought your hand up to his lips and kissed your knuckles briefly.

"I'm the only father figure in their life. The age difference makes me feel like a dad." He admitted. You felt sympathy towards the situation knowing not everyone has a happy family with two parents.

"You're doing a good job as their father figure. You're a good example to follow. I mean, you did finish school before touring with your band." You laughed lightly as he let out a short laugh.

"Thank you. Thank you for coming here as well." He turned and faced his siblings as he sighed.

"I'm so lucky to have you guys in my life.

You may have noticed that random collage of pictures attached to this. That is me in my Easter outfit. I was on Twitter and saw #PlusSizeAppreciation loads. I went through some posts and I got to thinking.

I may not be beautiful or even pretty, but I was created for a reason. I may not like my reflection, but some people see through my reflection. Some people see that I am actually a nice person.

I don't have many positive adjectives to describe myself, but I know I am no mistake! Yeah, I am pretty ugly. I know I don't really fit it. I'm not comfortable with how I look, but I'm sharing this with you guys.

I am a 5'4"-5'5" seventeen year old girl who has a problem with self image. I don't feel pretty in anything I wear, and I can't take a compliment.
