Fatima would never tell her children to lie to their father in order to save herself. She is raising them, to be honest, no matter what. She wants to have an open-door policy with her children. That way when they grow up, they can feel comfortable enough to come and tell her anything. Fatima is starting to regret that at this moment, because she knows as soon as Jr starts telling the story, Zac will start to ask more questions, and Jr will happily answer them all. Not giving a second thought to the promise he made.
Fatima: -thinking quickly- Pooh, you know when daddy finds out about you fighting; you will be in trouble right?
Jr: -looking up into the rearview mirror- But mommmyyyy! I want my ice cream, daddy promised.
Fatima: He promised that before you didn't have a good day in school. Pooh, you know when you have a bad day at school, something gets taken from you at home.
Jr: -folds his arms and begins to pout-
Fatima: It's fine. I don't think daddy knows yet. I'm pretty sure the school only called me; they knew your dad wasn't in town.
Jr: -sits up and starts smiling- Really? Did you tell, mommy?
Fatima: -laughs- No, I didn't. I haven't had the chance.
Jr: -gives puppy dog eyes- Please, don't tell! Pleaseee.
Fatima: You know we don't keep secrets in this household, pooh! -stops for a minute before speaking again- However, if he doesn't ask how you were in school today, I won't bring it up. Deal?
Jr: -smiling- Deal!
Fatima: That means you can't bring up Jordan's mom either. -pulling into the driveway-
Jr: Okay, mommy!
Fatima made it back home. She got Jr out of the car and went inside. She called Zac to see where he was, but he didn't pick up. Fatima figured he was on the airplane heading back.
Fatima: -walking into the house- Thank you, mom! Hopefully, Jojo didn't give you too much of a hard time.
Jr: -gives his grandma a hug-
Zac's mom: -hugging Jr back- He was an angel as always. How was your day, Jr?
Jr: I had a good day!
Zac's mom: That's good! Okay, I'm going to head you, Tima. I will see you tomorrow. -gives her a hug-
Fatima: No, Zac is coming home tonight. Take a break mom.
Zac's mom: Okay, well see you later then. Love you guys -laughs-
Fatima: We love you too.
Fatima cooked the boy's dinner and gave them a bath. Everybody is downstairs waiting on Zac to come home. Fatima is letting Jr stay up past his bedtime so he can see his dad. Zac's last flight ended up getting delayed, so he is coming home later than expected. Fatima ordered Jr some ice cream, and said it was from Zac. That way Zac keeps his promise. Josiah is running around the living room. He is starting to feel much better. They hear the garage door open, and all run to the door.
Jr: Daddy is home!!
Zac: -opens the door and sees his family- Hey! Awww, my boys waited up for me to get home.
Zac drops his bags, picks up Jr and Jojo, and begins to attack them with kisses.
Fatima: What about me, daddy? -smiling-
Zac: You know I always save the best for last. -walks over and kisses her-
Fatima: How was your flight?
