Fatima: You know the answer to that question.
Zac: I really don't. I have my theory, but it can be wrong. So, I'm asking you to clear that up for me.
Fatima: What is your theory?
Zac: You go first.
Fatima knew her answer without needing to give it a second thought. She took a second and looked at the ground. She began to play with her wedding ring which is something she does when she gets nervous. She took a deep breath and then looked back up at Zac.
Fatima: You.
Zac: -shocked-
Dr. Jackson: Why do you look so surprise, Zac?
Zac: -looking into her eyes- You would really choose me?
Fatima: -nods her head yes-
Zac: -looks to the ground-
Fatima: What was your theory?
Zac: -shaking his head- I thought you were going to say, Danni. -looking back at her-
Fatima: Why, honey?
Zac: You two worship each other. You have at times put her and her needs above our relationship. I get that she is your best friend, and she has been there every step of the way for you, and she is family to your family. So, I felt like if it ever came down to it, you would choose her.
Fatima: I love Daniella, I do. She is my best friend, sister, comfort zone, and so much more. -brings her hand to his cheek, begins to caress it- But she isn't you. She doesn't hold the keys to my heart, you do. You have given me things she could never, such as my children, security, the best sex, and a lot more. I could never replace what you do for me or what you give me. I love you more than anybody else in this world. That includes family and friends. You are my baby, my soul mate, my best friend. I know I show you the opposite a lot of the time, but it doesn't change the way I feel on the inside. Okay? -kisses him-
Dr: Jackson: -smiling-
Zac: -kisses her back- Okay, Pumpkin.
Fatima: I don't want you to mistake my loyalty for her as me loving her more. I know I have said things in the past to hurt you and get a reaction out of you and I'm sorry about that. I'm not surprised you thought I would choose her, because that is what my actions have been showing you. I promise to do better.
Zac: You and I?
Fatima: Forever.
Dr: Jackson: Now this is the couple that sat in front of me during our first session.
Fatima: -cuddles up under Zac-
Dr. Jackson: I love how we got to this moment. However, I would like to take a dive into a few things. That I don't want to brush over. Fatima, how do you feel about the Arianna situation?
Fatima: I trust my man. If he says it's nothing there, I believe it. I have never been one to tell him who he can or can't be friends with. I'm going to let that relationship ride its course. -takes a breath- I just don't want this to come back and bite me in the ass. This just seems too familiar.
Dr. Jackson: Would you care to go more into detail on that?
Fatima: When I first met Zac he was in a relationship. He wasn't faithful to her at all. He even tried to hit on me a couple of times, but I shut him down.
Zac: -sucks his teeth- Man why are you trying to put out my business like that.
Fatima: I'm trying to show you a pattern. When things get rough in your relationship you seek out comfort somewhere else.
