THIS IS A DOUBLE UPDATE. PLEASE READ THE POST AFTER THIS ONE.

What pretty purple eyes... Y/N thought, right before dread quickly sank in.

Y/N knew exactly who this was; his gorgeous purple eyes meeting Kazutora's own golden-brown hues, his eyes narrowed as he voiced his question to Kakucho.

"Well? Who is he?" He questioned, now redirecting his gaze towards Kakucho.

"Izana..." Kakucho subtly mumbled his name before answering, "This is Kazutora. He's our new roommate."

"Oh?" Izana hummed, "And what were you two doing? I asked one of the caretakers where you were and she said that you were out." His eyes flickered back to Kazutora, yet said nothing directly to him.

Y/N couldn't help but feel anxiety pool into their stomach; a curding sensation mixing in his gut that made him feel nauseous. Kurokawa Izana, another person that knew Shinichiro. Someone that Y/N couldn't help but feel deeply afraid of, because he was different from Inui Seishu, who forgave him. Izana was so much different in a way that... with Y/N's own life, they felt threatened by the mere presence of him.

Izana is a dangerous individual. More so than anyone else Y/N has come across thus far.

"The caretaker wanted me to make sure that he wouldn't get lost on his way back from a trip to visit his friends." Kakucho responded, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. Back when Kakucho gave Kazutora an indescribable look after speaking with a character, he knew that he should have told Izana before leaving, yet didn't. "Sorry for not telling you sooner."

Izana eerily smiled, "That's fine, Kakucho. I was just wondering." He then stood up from his spot on the bed, placing a hand on Kakucho's left shoulder, "Let's go. We have things we need to do." Izana was still staring at Kazutora, who stood next to Kakucho with a stiff posture.

Kakucho nodded, giving Kazutora a reassuring smile before he walked out of the room with his king.

Once they were gone, Kazutora let out a breath of air that they didn't know he was holding. Y/N knew that Izana would be just around the corner of eventually meeting, but they weren't expecting to feel so... insignificant under his gaze. The way he looked at Kazutora was calculative, almost as if he was analyzing every small detail about him. He didn't even have to say anything.

Kurokawa Izana is an absolutely terrifying man.

Slumping his shoulders, Kazutora sighed, raking his fingers through his hair as he contemplated what he should do. Spending time with Kakucho was pretty nice, but with Kakucho came Izana. They were inseparable, after all. Well, so much for using the Haitani brothers. Y/N idly thought, pushing Kazutora's feet to walk himself back over to his bed. They would have been great to use as a direct source of information about the various gangs that they eventually join, assuming that I manipulate them in a way where they want to do my bidding... Kazuotra sat down, sinking into the soft mattress underneath him. I mean, I guess the option isn't entirely unavailable. Just a shift in plans, is all. Because Y/N doesn't particularly care about the Haitani's as people. Just like most others, they were nothing more than characters to be used; until Y/N hypothetically grew an unsuspecting attachment to them like they did for Hanma Shuji. However, that was unlikely, as the context of their relationship with Shuji was highly situational.

Y/N supposed that it would be easier to find the Haitani's if they were in contact with Tenjiku. Hypothetically once more, if Tenjiku has yet to be formed, then Y/N could be a staple figure in getting Kakucho (in specific) to go out on a hunt for the Haitani's in Y/N's stead, or at least travel alongside Kazutora in search for them. It was, once again, stated in Ran's wiki that he respected Kakucho, which is a huge feat in of itself. But there was, once again, a problem. Y/N wanted nothing to do with Tenjiku. They just wanted to keep track of the plot while they were miles away from everything that would eventually happen. Y/N wasn't interested in saving anyone but Baji Keisuke, mainly because they didn't want to be classified as a murderer (again).
