Today we are here with the trailer for our new story: "The Cure", a fanfic from the universe of "His Dark Materials"!

It's a story created from a fan's outrage about the end of the trilogy and the way that the more recent books are taking, so let's be clear, this story only takes into account the events of the first trilogy of books, taking place years after "The amber spyglass". The books of the saga "The Book of Shadows" ("La Belle Sauvage and "The Secret Community") are absolutely ignored, as this story is the rewriting of the future of Lyra and Will.

Don't take the movie or series into consideration, as the characters who die in them live in the books. But, there are some details that we took from them, sure.

The Cure follows the story of four protagonists, Lyra and Will, already familiar to those who follow the saga, and two new faces, Rafaella (better known as Ella), and Jason. The four adventure the worlds, dealing with the dictatorial power of the Magisterium, as well as problems old and new. They discover new worlds, visit familiar places, as well as rediscover old names and discover new faces, trying to discover who is a friend and who is an enemy.

Ella is forced to flee, and so is Jason, and the two end up in a friendship that keeps them on the path to the truth. At the same time, Lyra and Will struggle to hold on, as the pain of not being able to be together consumes them. But in the end, will it all work out?

Hi, so, this is the english version of our story, and it is in fact a rushed translation made by Google and revised by me, and as english is not my native language, there's probably gonna be a lot of little mistakes, sorry in advance.  This story is really long so it was easier to use Google translate, you know? We wanted to finish posting it before the third (and last) season of His Dark Materials finished airing, and we did it! The original version (in portuguese) was already posted in full, and now so is the english version!
