jefferson had done a lot of bad. a lot of awful things in his somewhat short life. he knew that. however, he faced down a killer clown to protect a shitty group of kids and that had to mean something, right?
hed gone out for a good cause. trying to fix the wrongs. the suffering of the kids was added onto because of him and he tried to help. he tried to help until his last breath.
he could feel the tiny pinpricks of the spear, they spread across his body like knives. blood crawling it's way up his throat. choking him as he took shallow breaths. the screams dying in his throat as he told andi he was sorry.
what was he sorry for? he didn't know. but he knew he was sorry for any harm he'd caused the marsh girl. for anything he did to harm anyone.
because he'd done a lot of bad things but he tried to make up for them. did it work?
