Alex entered the hotel room and slammed his bags down on the floor, falling on the bed and taking his shoes off... He grabbed out his earphones from his bag and lied back down on the bed. He put on his favorite tracks and closed his eyes. He was so tired, being in a new school had drained him completely, knowing nobody except the one girl, Miyu, he had met, who just happened to be the sister of his new arch enemy, Kaito whoever...
A song started playing that spoke exactly what he felt, Recovery by Funeral For A Friend.
"Scared to open up these eyes,
To see just what's inside,
This tree is dead and cold,
This house is not a home,
Help me now I'm dying here alone,
This is not a new game,
So don't think that you know,
Casually I confide,
Awake and paralysed,
Forever in one word,
Forever is the longest time,
It's the only cure I'm not sure I'll survive..."
He turned up the volume... He missed his electric guitar, being at home, in his own room. Although it wasn't the most expensive guitar, he could always take his emotions and frustrations out on it... For now the music would have to do, but now it felt like he didn't belong here, that maybe he did belong amongst those who tortured his soul endlessly, he had gotten so used to it...

"What? You're kidding, your uncle owns a karaoke bar? I want to go!"
He and Miyu was standing against a wall at school, out of sight, she was smoking a cigarette. She smiled as she blew out the smoke and threw it down on the ground stepping on it... He never liked cigarettes, so he just stood at a bit of a distance.
"Yeah, we should go. My uncle won't mind. How about this weekend? I am so excited already! You will meet my other friends then."
"Oh, so you're not a loner like me?" he faked a disappointed look at her and shook his head, which was followed by a smile.
"What made you think I was...- wait, now you're kidding with me? Ha, yeah, I have three other friends, Yuki, Brandon and Mika. This will also be the perfect time to go get you some better clothes. In another part of town this time, definitely not near to where my brother hangs out, so we can be sure you hold on to whatever we buy!"
---------------------------------
"How about this?"
She crinkled her nose not pleased at all. He looked down at his baggy jeans and loose fitted t-shirt with a cat in front.
"The cat is okay, but this outfit is the exact opposite of what i have in mind. Go change into the next outfit already, I can't bear to see any more baggy pants or anything loose fitted!"
"Okay okay!" He returned to the dressing booth. There hung a few outfits that were put together for him by the lady at the counter. A semi tight fitting t-shirt caught his eyes, short sleeved and white with a red moustache print in front, and as he put it on he hoped it would be the right choice. A black zip up hoodie left halfway open, with a tight fitting black skinny denim, with his Chuck's canvas sneakers... Slowly he walked out with his eyes cast down to the floor.
"Woah, I wasn't going for some sort of Hipster, but that looks....-"
"Yeah yeah, I know you hate it, I'll go change..."
