Ali's P.O.V:
She slammed the door shut behind her, tears started to flow down her cheeks. She barely heard what her brother and Alex was saying to each other, nor had she heard him leave...
Why hadn't she stick to her earlier plan to 'steel herself', but it was so damn hard, he seemed like a good guy. Once again she had fallen for a bad boy in an instance.
Just a year back she had finally got her ex to leave her alone after cheating on her with several girls. Firmiliar words rung in her head 'Once a bad boy, always a bad boy'.
There was a knock on her door, she didn't even bother to answer, knowing it was her brother.
"Ali, are you alright?"
"Yeah, just perfect. Now leave me alone." her voice sounded lifeless in her own ears.
"Ali, please come out and talk to me. I don't want you doing anything stupid..."
She almost smirked at his remark, remembering when she had freshly found out that Michael, her ex, had cheated on her with one of her closest friends, her family was dead set on the idea that she was planning suicide, only because they found a bloodied razor blade in the bathroom.
It was the first time, but it was also the last time she had cut herself on the top of her forearm. She lifted her arm, running a finger over the mark on her forearm. The scar was fading, but her heart was still hurting. Why hadn't she seen the signs?
"Don't worry Riley, I am not planning to kill myself... I think I have finally learned my lesson. I thought he was different than Michael, you know...?"
"Yeah, he seemed nice, but I saw through him the moment we started talking, why do you think I called Julia?"
"Oh Riley, I wish you hadn't..." she moved away from the door, falling on her bed and burying her head in the pillow.
"I'm sorry, but like Julia, I only care about you Ali, you can't blame me for that..."
She didn't reply, all she wanted to do was sleep....

Emily's P.O.V:
"I have no idea what's going on in that boy's head. He is sooo hot. But so am I, why isn't he even paying attention to me? I so hate Jenny and Bethany for getting further with him." Emily was lying on her bed talking to Julia on the phone, it was late night. What was wrong? Wasn't she skinny enough? She didn't have bad skin, she took care of herself, there was not one boy in school who didn't want to date her!
"I seriously have no clue, nothing is wrong with you. It would just seem he isn't into blondes?" She wanted to end the call when Julia started laughing at her.
"It's no laughing matter! It's serious! Do you think I should color my hair then?" She let out an overdramatic sigh.
"No! He isn't worth it...-"
"But why did he kiss me this morning? It felt so stupid to see him with other girls, I almost had hope! Then he just left me hanging... Don't I deserve love too?"
"He is a player. He doesn't deserve you, just get over it Emily. Plus, he doesn't exactly sound like the loving kind. You can do so much better. What about Brody? He is the basketball captain, you two practically grew up together."
"Brody is stupid! We have a history, he also played around with other girls, leaving me after all! You're starting to sound like my parents. Even if I did want him, he is dating Amanda at the moment. It's a lost cause."
