Chan and I arrived at the temple of Yue. It was stunning two huge statues of her each of them has a fish. It seemed like khoi as I though
Only I was wondering why she had two khoi's swimming around
There were many priestesses walking around the temple, some of them looked at us
Two maidens of Yue were standing by the huge doors probably watching around the area. Kara called them royal guardians of goddess Yue, they were different from the other guards
They have silver helmet with a full moon on it, paint on their heads with a moon related, Golden chest plate and they wore instead of pants they wore some type of skirts with sandals under
Maybe inspired of the ancient Greece
So we entered the temple and we saw Hyunjin and Kara standing by a statue in front of Yue
Everywhere kind of paintings of her, they really praise their goddess
(A/N: so maybe of you wondered how does Yue look like? Well I got inspired of avatar the last airbender princess Yue, the girl with white hair who sacrificed herself to save the northern water tribe and she became one with the moon
Yue actually means moon :)
I thought oh that would be nice, to put her in my book as the moon goddess of Hyunjin's and Karina's tribe

Now back to the story)
Hyunjin saws us and started to run to us. When he came to us he almost tripped over his own foot
"Clumsy dumb ass"I thought
"I'm so happy to see back Chan" He smiled and hugged Chan
"I'm also happy to see you again, how are you doing?" Chan asked
"Great! Kara was telling me stories about Yue" Hyunjin said and took our hands
"Come" Hyunjin said and pulled on our arms. I looked to Chan and he looked back at me. We both chuckled
Hyunjin stopped in front of the statue and he bowed for her
"Thank you, goddess Yue for saving and bringing back our friend" He said
I looked around in the temple and something caught my eyes
"What's that?" I asked Hyunjin and pointed to it
"Oh that is telling the life of Yue" Hyunjin and he took our hands again and we walked to it
"It tells Yue's story, how she became on young age a alpha and how she sacrificed herself for us" He said
The first painting showed Yue and her tribe like they were in battle with a other tribe
The second painting showed Yue in the middle of battle, raising her hands
The thirth painting showed Yue ruling the tribes with kindness and love
The fourth painting showed Yue going on land, getting a bind with humans. Probably some of them are people like me hybrids or the maidens of Yue
The fifth painting showed Yue in a battle with the humans, Yue leading her tribe and a sailor leading the humans. Many were death of both parts
The sixth painting showed Yue with a spear through her stomach
The last painting showed Yue on table, laying peacefully but her spirit leaves her body and raises to the moon
"Tragic story" I thought
"The massacred of the mermaids" Kara suddenly said
"Sorry" I said
"Those sailors killed these beautiful creatures" She said and her facial expression she seemed mad
But there was on left side another painting. Showing Yue meeting female warriors with bows and something with moon
"What does this mean Hyunjin?" I asked
"I'm not sure but I have seen them before, maybe my sister knows" He said
I nodded and Hyunjin suddenly walked to the statue and got down on his knees
"After Yue's death, the balance was gone and they suffered a lot. Everyone was insulting each other, confronting each other it was totally disaster" Kara said
"Why did the sailors kill Yue?" I asked
"Because one of the mermaids was in love with the sailor or at least she sang the siren song to him. Not long after they got a child, a girl
But then suddenly hear baby was gone, the mermaid was stressed and upset so she went back to the water and then the disaster came
Many baby's saw their mothers getting slaughtered by the sailors, it was a bloodbath, they luckily didn't find the babies because they were hidden byYue
Instead of finding the babies, Yue got find and she killed few sailors but a spear came through stomach
The remaining mermaids sang a stronger siren song out of their rage for killing their leader, their alpha
Most all of the sailor drowned themselves however few escaped but eventually they will be dead too" Kara said and looked to Hyunjin who seemed crying but Chan sat beside him and consoled him
I was speechless that humans could do that
"What did the remaining mermaids with Yue's body" I asked
"The mermaids showed their last respect to their beloved leader and moon saws it and showed kindness" Kara said
"This day should be celebrated because after a years new members of Yue's tribe came back so this evening we are going to celebrate it" Kara smiled
"Sounds like a good idea" I said and I looked to Hyunjin who luckily stopped crying and laughed of Chan's jokes
