Chan's pov

After the big loss we went back to sanctuary of Yue and when we arrived we saw many bodies laying covered with white blankets. There were so many bodies

We saw Jangmi leading her sisters, she could be a amazing leader. She saws and she already concerned and she walked to us

"What happened?" She asked

Hyunjin didn't say anything and he passed her with his head down

"I tell you later" I said and looked to the bodies

"How many did with we lose?" I asked Jangmi

Jangmi's eyes starred to get teary

"T-Too many, include the guardians and the maidens" she said with a broken voice

"I'm so sorry for your loss" I said and hugged her and she hugged me sobbing on my shoulder

"I-I don't k-know what t-to do" She sobbed and she pulled away

"How is Jinsoul?" I asked

"She is getting better but healing process is slowly the water of life become less and less" She said and wiped her tears and sighed

"Do you maybe know how the earthquake happened?" I asked her

"It's because the Goddess is in pain, the invaders destroyed her island with their war. She wanted only peace and harmony and that's why the water of life become less and less" She said and looked to statue of Yue

The statue was chained and somehow yue was crying

"We lost Karina and Felix..." I suddenly said and Jangmi's eyes widened

"What!" She yelled

"Hyunjin wanted to save Karina for giving the necklace" I stopped as I showed her the necklace "then the earthquake started and Karina suddenly stood up and slapped the necklace out the invader commander's hand

The commander slapped her and they eventually took her" I said

"In Felix's case, during the earthquake the ground under Felix's feet crumbled into pieces and Felix fell down but Hyunjin and I held his hand but he told us to let him go and save Karina" I said

"Felix slipped out of our hands and he fell down in the water" I said

Jangmi was quiet

"They both should be honoured for their duties" She said and I nodded

"But I need to follow Hyunjin" I said

"I completely understand, may she guides you" she said with small smiled

I nodded

"You should be a great leader" I said and left her

After a few minutes

I followed Hyunjin and he leaded me to the temple well half damaged

I got inside and I heard someone talking

I walked closer and I saw Hyunjin walking back to forth talking to the statue of Yue

He was yelling, screaming at her

"Why didn't you help us when we needed you the most!!" He yelled, I walked closer to him

He was kinda scary I never have seen him before on land, only in water

"My sister gave her life for you! She adored you the most, she learned everything about you she even did the old oath to you! She pledged to you and what did you? Nothing" He yelled again and he grabbed something from the ground and threw it to the statue

Then he got on his knees and cried

"Just please talk to me, my sister might be dead and my dear friend also because of your earthquake" He cried

I feel so sorry for him, He lost everything

I lowered myself to his level and touched his back and he turned around, pushing me ground digging his nails into my arms and his eyes were black

"You-" he realised it was me

His eyes went back to normal and he slow pulled out his nails, that stings

He hugged me and cried on my shoulder

"Chan.." He sobbed

"It's alright" I said with a soft voice and caressed his back

After a few hours

Hyunjin's pov

We were standing on the coast and I looked on last time back to the island
Jangmi hugged me

"I'm going to miss you, Hyunjin and Chan" She pulled away and hugged Chan

"We also" Chan said and jangmi pulled away

"What's your first discussion, new leader of the maidens of Yue?" Chan asked

"We are going to rebuild our island and we are going to build a temple for everyone who we lost include Karina and Felix" Jangmi said

"Jinsoul will train new troops so we could defend ourselves" Jangmi smiled as Jinsoul surprised

She bowed "I will" She said

We got on the boat and Chan started to the engine. We waved onengine last time to them and they waved back

After a few seconds

"Are going to miss it?" Chan asked

"A bit, we had fun there but it changed" I said as I looked to the water

"We are going to home" Chan said and I smiled

I looked one last time to the island, it dissappearing in the mist

I touched Yue's necklace and I sighed
