#LWANDLE SIBIYA
I was worried about Siko , although Dlamini told us not to worry she's okay and safe wherever she is but i just couldn't help especially with these people after her. Yesterday i drove down to Umzumbe at home , to distract myself and also because I missed my babygirl.
"Zulu!" I smiled and bowed my head as a sign for them to rise up.
Noma : "Aw Lwa awusho mase uza , i would've cleaned up your room." (Aw Lwa , you don't tell us when you coming , ...)
Me : "Its okay Noma. Where are my parents?"
Noma : "They went out."
Me : "How long?"
Noma : "Just before you nje." I nod.
Me : "Please don't let anyone disturb me , i need to rest."
Noma : "Hawu Lwa. I thought maybe , you'd want us to have a little fun together especially since your parents aren't home." I really need some sleep and this girl was just getting on my nerves.
Me : "My woman wouldnt like that Nomalizwi. Stay out of my way before i get you fired."
Noma : "Oh." I walked away from her and went to my outside my flat , i locked myself there and just laid on the bed looking at mine and my girls pictures. I miss my woman.
I was woken up by a hard persistent knock on my door , it really was irritating me.
Me : "Yini?!" (What?!) I shouted yanking my door open after unlocking it.
Mom : "Ngizokuqhumisa ngempama mina Ndumiso!" (I'll slap you so hard Ndumiso!)
Me : "Im sorry mama , i didn't think it was you plus i was sleeping." She shakes her head.
Mom : "Go shower then come join us for supper."
Me : "Excuse me, i showered before coming here ma'am."
Mom : "Aybo! Awukaze wazwana namanzi vele wena and I sometimes question myself why we named you Lwandle." Only my mom is this dramatic. (You've never loved water anyway.) I rolled my eyes.
Me : "Wait for me then we'll walk together." She rolled her eyes this time.
Mom : "You've always been a baby too." I got dressed in my sweatpants and a longsleeve t-shirt. I wore my sleepers then we went out.
Mom : "Look who's here!" She says as soon as we walked in the dining room where the rest of the family was.
Ndondo : "Momma this is the surprise you made us wait for!?!" She asked dramatically like the drama queen she is.
Dad : "Shut up wena! That's my son!"
Nqobile : "Hi bro! Can we eat now please!"
Me : "Why are y'all acting like y'all aren't happy that im here!?!" They roll their eyes making the parents laugh at our silliness. Nqobile was the youngest daughter but a lil older than me. She was 28 and Ndondo was 29 , crazy i know. I am 26 by the way.
Thabiso : "Yabona imisebenzi yokuzala zilandelana eduze ingane?!" He said laughing , shaking his head. Thabiso was our little cousin brother , his parents died when he was 10 and my parents toom him in and raised him as their own. He's 23 and we best of friends too.
Mom : "Ngizonikhahlela nina!" She said pointing at me and my siblings , we laughed at her.
Me : "Where's my d..."
"Baba!!!" I chuckle and turn with my arms already wide open for her as she ran towards me.
Me : "Sawubona sthandwa sami."
Uzeno : "Sapona baba." She says giggling.
Nqobile : "Oh Lwandle i need a new phone."
Me : "Ask your parents phela."
Ndondo : "Not when your daughter is responsible for it being dead! She threw my phone in the toilet Lwandle imagine! My brand new iPhone 12 max. Ha.ah y'all gotta pay."
Dad : "But i replaced your phone nje Ndondo."
Ndondo : "Aybo baba! With a mobicel?! Hhayi." I couldn't help it , i laughed and everyone else followed that made Ndondo more pissed.
Uzeno : "Azange mina baba."
Ndondo : "Yey wena qhatha! So i am lying?!" Zeno and Ndondo are always at loggerheads and i dont know why , they have a love-hate relationship.
Me : "Fine , ill see what i can do Ndondo." This is exactly what i needed to get my mind of things.
