" w...what ?" Anna said , almost falling to the ground , not believing what she just heard , the man she loves and who proposed to her two weeks ago , asking her who she is

"Wh...what are you saying ?" Anna asked , shivering , she thought he was kidding with her

" do i know you ? And ... how did i get here !?" Damon asked as he sat up , feeling pain in his head

" Damon !! Do you remember what happened!?" Anna asked

" first of all would you mind telling me who you are !?" He insisted on his question

Unable to process what's happening, Anna stepped back from him , with the look of shock and confusion on her face

Suddenly the door burst opened again revealing Amelia . " no need to complain i forgot my purse-" she said right before she saw Damon awake

" Damon , you're awake !" She said

" Amelia, hey " he said

Anna again looked at him in shock , did he just talk politely to Amelia ? Last time he yelled at her and kicked her out

" how are you feeling ?" Amelia asked as she stepped closer

" i ... my head's spinning around , hey do you know who this is ? " he said as he pointed at Anna

Amelia looked at him , surprised as well, then she turned to Anna , who had tears in her eyes , the surprised look Amelia had on her face turned into a smirk , knowing exactly what's going on , Damon lost his memories

Both Anna and Julia sat with the doctor in his office, discussing Damon's condition

I'm afraid your son has lost his memories

Julia
How mush memories exactly?

The doctor
His memories of five years , when i asked him what year this is , he said it's 2017 , and i asked him what's the last thing he remembers , he said when he closed this deal with some company, and you madam Sorrentino said that this happened five years ago

Julia
Indeed

Anna
Oh god !

Anna said as she covered her face with her hands

The doctor
Which means all the events he experienced, the places he's been and the people he knew during those five years , are forgotten, doesn't recall any of them

Anna
Will he remember them ?

The doctor
It's rare when the lost memories are not retrieved, but he needs a motive to remember, few reminders of those lost moments, and they can all be back , but be careful , too mush pressure could cause unwanted consequences

Anna
So he will remember!?

The doctor
Only if the right factors are present , right now , he still needs to stay at the hospital for few more days , until his injury is healed

" first we let him rest , he has just woken up , we don't want to push him over the edge , you heard the doctor , we shouldn't press on him " Julia confronted Anna as she patted on her arm , reassuring her that everything will be fine
