𝐈𝐅 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐓𝐎 𝐀𝐒𝐊 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐎𝐃𝐎𝐑𝐀 𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐁𝐔𝐑𝐍 if she's had a weird life, the short answer would be yes. she had a twin brother, which wasn't really the weird part of her life. the weird part was that her parents were sex and relationship therapists that ran their business out of an office in their home. let's just say that thea has heard a bunch of stuff that a little girl shouldn't have heard at the time. but at least she had her brother to listen to it and be confused about it with. she'd actually say that being a twin is probably the most normal thing in life, which is why she's so thankful for the boy that is otis milburn. but, when the two of them were younger, they had witnessed their father cheating on their mother with one of their clients. otis didn't really know what it had meant at the time, but thea did in a way.
fast forward a few years, the twins' parents are divorces, their mother having full custody over them. it had processed in the twins' brains what their dad had done and it had messed them up in their own little ways. for starters, thea had grown to dislike the man that was her father while otis still loved and worshipped him. this also caused thea to start having some. . . behavioral issues. because of that, she was sent to live in the states with her father for three years and was promised that once she got her act together, she'd be able to come home. and at first, thea was unbelievably mad at the fact that she had to be with the man that she hated most in the world. but she knew that if she had started to act better, the faster she'd be able to get home. so she got her grades up, stopped letting her anger control her, and focused on getting better.
and three years later, she was back at home with her mother and brother. she starts at mooredale secondary school and meets this girl that was exactly her type. what happens when that same girl comes to her and otis about starting a sex therapist business at mooredale?
