𝐈𝐓 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐍𝐎𝐖 𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆, the twins sitting at the dining table, munching on some toast. once the two had gotten home with eric on friday night, the trio did nothing but snack on a bunch of foods. the boys had managed to cheer thea up and get her mind off of maeve for a little while, which she was thankful for. but then the mood had gotten ruined when otis had came across their mother's opened laptop, revealing the title of the book she's been writing. bringing up men: profiles of a post-pubescent boy with sexual phobias. let's just say that otis wasn't happy about that.
"morning, darlings." jean greeted as she walked into the kitchen.
"morning." thea mumbled through her toast, knowing that otis wasn't going to answer. and she was right, the silent boy staying silent.
jean immediately noticed that, her smile dropping as she walked over to the counter. she looked over at thea, silently asking her what was wrong, but thea quickly looked down. "do you guys want any tea?"
"i'm okay. thank you." thea answered while otis opened up a newspaper.
jean nodded at her daughter while she poured herself some tea, looking at her son. she then walked over to the fridge, "will you save the crossword for me, please?"
