𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐀 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐎𝐃 𝐍𝐄𝐗𝐓 𝐓𝐎 𝐌𝐀𝐄𝐕𝐄, leaning on the fence as she looked at the boys run. aimee gibbs was standing on the other side of maeve, the three girls talking to one another while the boys ran around the track. thea and aimee had officially met a few weeks ago, maeve introducing them by dragging thea into the old toilets. otis and eric would make an appearance everyone few minutes, the both of them basically dying. well, more so otis than eric,  making thea laugh at them whenever they ran around. her smile was always quickly wiped off when she had seen jackson reading virginia woolf.

"ruby thinks kyle should change the way he dresses, but i think he looks nice." aimee informed. "i mean, he has been wearing a lot of track bottoms recently, but that's only cause he set his jeans on fire."

"what?" thea and maeve asked in unison, turning to look at aimee.

"he's got second-degree burns on his thighs, but he was blazed when it happened, so it only hurt a bit." aimee then added.

"hey, maeve!" a familiar voice appeared, immediately making thea's mood drop. "what do you think woolf meant by, 'the history of men's opposition to women's emancipation is more interesting, perhaps, than the story of that emancipation itself'?"
