Pinagmasdan ko si Bughaw na magiliw na kumakain.

"Dada.. Why kaya in a hurry si Mr Bluwell kanina? I wasn't able to thank him for trying to help me" she suddenly asked..

I sighed..

For someone turning 5, this kid is too smart.

Napapikit ako ng maalala ang sakit sa boses ni Blue..

Bago ko pa siya malapitan ay nagmamadaling umalis si Blue at basta nalang kaming iniwan..

I felt so much guilt.

"Bughaw, anak, can you go to your room? Your dada and I needs to talk about adult matters" he sweetly said

Lumapit sakin si Riel at naupo sa tabi ko..

Sinandal niya ang ulo niya sa balikat ko..

"How was the call babe? " I asked

"She is dying there Benj... Finally.." mahinang sabi niya..

"She is still your mom..." I said..

"Don't make me laugh... I will never forget what she did to us.." he said with hatred.

"I know Riel.. Who can forget?" I whispered..

Memories of the five painful years we've endured together flashed in front of my eyes..
