"Yeah. Definitely..." I say slowly turning away from her. We hear this sound in the woods and we can't quite define why it is.
"Oh my, did you hear that!?"
"No. No. I'm just def. OFC I DID!" She slowly backs up towards a tree. A gust of wind brushes up leaves making my hair all frizzy.
"Heehee look. My hair it's all frizzy." I try to make her feel less scared, even though she brought us here."Haha!" We start to hear whispers and Esmery reaches before I can think and hugs me tight. "What do we do Leo?" Some random person just came out of the bushes.
"AH! WHO ARE YOU?" They asked.
"Who are you?"
"I asked first! Now you answer."
"Uh I'm Leo,Leo Willow."
"THE HUMAN!?"
"Yeah? What else would I be?"
"And who are you?" They said looking towards Esmery. "I-I- I'm E-Esmery...."
"Well hey E- Esmery, hehe."
" So who are you?"
"Oh. Im.."
"PRINCE!!!" A random loud voice which seemed like a man yelled
"Oh shoot! Come on, let's go!" They pull us deeper into the forest. "Where are we going?!"
"Uh...somewhere!" We run till we can't hear the voices. We pant in relief. "What the heck was that!?" I say a bit angrily
"Oh my gosh what if that was the troops looking for us!?" Esmery said while grabbing me tight by the arm. "Uh- well... um.. "
"Uh Uh uh JUST TELL US!" Esmery breaks out yelling.
