BANG
A bullet went flying past my head. I look back only to see the metal Vault 101 door close.
"So this is it-," Vent starts.
"The start of our adventure," I say.
"Eww not like that!" He fake gags.
"You know what I mean!" We both laugh and walk outside while Vent beat boxes action music. Suddenly, I hear Vent sigh.
"What is it?" I ask, covering my eyes from the blinding light.
"What? Oh, I was just thinking," He replies.
"About what?" I question.
"Stuff..." Vent says sighing again.
"Better not be about me," I tease.
"Hey! I never said I liked you!" He blurts out and though I can't see him, I know he's blushing. "I was thinking about your ancestor, Poet."
"Oh? I've heard stories of her. She seemed nice. How'd you know her?" I ask, walking towards the remains of a town.
"Uh, friends of friends. No I'm not that old! Anyway, thanks to her I have a better way of explaining it to you," Once Vent was finished speaking, a pair of arms wrapped around me, making me gasp.
"Get off of me!" I scream, kicking at whoever it was, until I heard a soft voice.
"Cywren, it's me," The voice replies quietly. I turn around and gasp again at the sight.
"Vent? Is that really you?" I question in disbelief, stepping closer.
"Real as ever, I hope," He chuckles and walks with me to a house in the distance. We walk inside.
"Who's there? I have- I have a stick!" The figure grumbles deeply.
I walk towards her and hold out my hand, which she reluctantly shakes. "I am Cywren Caster, ex resident of Vault 101 and this is-" I was cut off.
"Jordan. Jordan Frye." Jordan grumbles, staring right through her.
I stare at him, wide eyed, but he motions for me to talk on. "Uh, yes. Anyway, we come in peace so you are perfectly safe knowing we won't and -don't wish to- hurt you," I stutter, moving a piece of crimson hair out of my face.
"Hmm, alright you look pretty trustworthy, M'names Silver."
A/n: Guys I am SOOO sorry about the wait, and I know there's probably nothing I can do to change the fact I screwed up. (Srry language lol) I am truly sorry for eveything. ×~×
