"We're here," I said when the car stopped.

We stopped right in front of a bridal store. I grabbed my bag, and we all got out of the car.

"This bridal store looks exclusive," Ningning commented.

"It's one of the most exclusive and luxury fashion designers. He designed some of the most beautiful wedding attire for bride and groom in Malaysia," I said.

"He's also mom's close friend," Jasmine added as we walked towards the door.

"He's been one of the most supportive friends I have in the fashion designing industry," Mom said.

The moment we stepped in, we were greeted warmly by the staff and the owner of the bridal store himself. He has a vast boutique he built himself. He makes his name from scratch. Until now, he's one of the best fashion designers in Malaysia.

"Sunny! It's a huge honour to meet you and your 'team'," the owner said.

I laughed and nodded.

"So, who did you bring with you today?" Rizalman, the owner, asked.

"My mom, Christine. My sister-in-law, Jasmine. And my two best friends, Ningning and Yuna," I said.

"Amazing. We'll have a lot of opinions then," he said, and I laughed in response.

"Don't worry. We picked out the ones you've chosen online and have taken them out. Let's go to the back where you can see the simple dresses you had eyes on the other day when we met online," he said.

"Alright," I replied, and we all moved to the back of the store.

We were served some light refreshments such as champagne, fruits and sweets. Chocolates and mints.

It's up to me since I'm the bride. I chose six dresses from hundreds of choices. I had eyes on ballgowns. Mom had eyes on a mermaid dress. Jasmine, Ningning and Yuna said they would love any dresses I love. So, there you have an answer.

"So, we have your favourites out of all hundreds of choices," he said while showing all the dresses.

It's all hung in front of us. Six dresses that I will be trying out today.

"If none of these suit your taste. Don't worry. Don't be pressured to pick any of these. We have more choices, and the bride will make the choices, right?"

"Right."

"So, are we ready for the dress trial?"

"Ask the bride," they said.

I chuckled and nodded, "Very ready."

"Great! Let's go to the back. We'll try your very first dress."

"You look so pretty," they commented

"You look so pretty," they commented.

I smiled while looking into the mirror. This is just not it.

"Not yet?" Yuna asked.

I look at her through the mirror and at myself before shaking my head.

"No," I sighed.

"This is your sixth dress," mom said.

"I still don't like any of these," I said before turning back.

"What is it that you don't like about it?"

"The back train makes me feel like I'm getting pulled backwards and downwards. And I wouldn't say I like the bow behind me. It's heavy. It's too big," I said.

"Alright then, this is a total no," the consultant said.

"Yeah. This is a no," I pressed my lips.

"It's okay. We have a lot more to try back here. We have a lot more choices," Rizalman said.

"I need to take a break first. I want to go to the restroom," I said.

"Of course! Let's take you off this dress, and you can go to the restroom first."

"Alright," I replied.

After taking off the dress, I went to the restroom and back to the lounge area where mom, Jasmine, Yuna and Ningning were sitting together.

"Actually, your last dress was beautiful," mom said.

"But is it 'appropriate' just like you wanted?" I asked.

"I mean - it's not that appropriate. But I assume that Rizal will have something to help you cover up your shoulders," she said.

I shook my head before sipping my champagne.

"I didn't like it either way," I said.

"All the dresses looked beautiful, but some looked too much for a church ceremony," Yuna said.

"I know. Do you have photos from just now? I want to see them," I said.

"Yeah, here," she gave me my phone.

I scroll through the recently taken photos and look through the images.

"This was nice," Ningning said

"This was nice," Ningning said.

"You think so?" I asked.

"Hey, I love this one too," Jasmine said.

"Which one?" Mom asked.

"The one with fabric wrapped around my waist. Ballgown," I said before showing her the photo.

"This one is nice, too," Mom said.

I look at the photo, "I think I'll try this one again. I kinda like it now."

"Yeah, this one looks good on you, honestly. It looks spotless. No beads. No glitters. No nothing. Just fabric. It's beautiful," Jasmine commented.

I nodded, "I'll try this one again."

I stood up and metmet with Rizalman, telling him I wanted to try on the same dress I had tried just now. I showed him the design, and he broughtreturned the dress to me, and I tried it on again.

When I look at myself in the mirror, wearing the dress, I feel more like it—a bride.

I went to the lounge wearing the dress, and they fam liked it. I looked in the mirror and smiled.

"Let's try to put on a full set. With the crown and the veil," Rizalman said.

The stylist helped me to put on the veil and the crown. When everything was already put on, I fell in love with the dress. I love it.

"What do you think?" I asked the fam.

They smiled and nodded, "I would say yes to this one." Ningning said.

"Agree," the rest three of them said.

"Sunny?" Rizalman asked me.

I exhaled while looking in the mirror.

"Are you saying yes to the dress?"

I grinned and nodded.

"Yes."
