"Good morning," Sunny greeted as she entered the dining room.
"Good morning, Sunny. Eat up, I've cooked your favorite fried rice," Christine said while placing a plate with fried rice on it on the table.
Sunny shook her head, "I don't feel like eating something heavy."
Christine looked at SUnny and nodded, "Alright. What do you want to eat?"
"Do we have yoghurt? Something sour," Sunny said.
"Yes we do. Greek yoghurt and brown sugar? How's that sound?" Christine asked.
"No brown sugar. Just the yoghurt," Sunny said, slowly sitting.
"Alright. Wait here, I'll take it for you," Christine said before walking into the kitchen to get Sunny her yogurt. It's been 2 months since they've stayed in Guangzhou for Sunny's chemotherapy.
Every week, Sunny has to go to the hospital for her targeted therapy.
Initially, the doctor said to get Sunny only 8 rounds of therapy. However, on her 6th round, the doctor decided that 8 rounds weren't enough since the tumor hadn't even budged an inch.
So after her 8th round, the round of chemo will depend on Sunny's tumor's condition.
At this point, Sunny's whole body was in pain. Her nails are all very loose and would bleed most of the time. She has already shaved her head. Her body was very dry and she had to moisturize her body every time she showered.
She feels nauseous most of the time. Her taste buds are gone. She can't hear and see anymore. Almost all of her organs were shutting down.
