Thursday came fast and Theo told me he was going to pick me up in an hour so I was currently getting ready for that.

"No. You are not wearing that Issy," May drags out.

She is helping me get ready for the date.

I sigh, "it's not bad."

"No, it's not. You're not wearing it on a date though," she presses her lips together.

I groan putting the leggings back in my closet.

"How about this?" I ask, pulling out a sun dress. "I can wear it with some sneakers."

"Where are you guys going anyway?" she asks, continuing her raid in my closet.

"He said he found a café I would like so we are going there," I answer.

She hums, "okay then. This works."

She hands me the dress and I head to the bathroom to change. I took a shower earlier today and did my hair after so I just had to do my makeup now.

I walk out of the bathroom and she is holding a pair of white sneakers, "here. Now sit, it's time for makeup."

I grin, grabbing the shoes and sitting on the chair in front of my vanity.

She starts doing my makeup and finishes about 45 minutes later.

"Done," she smiles. I look at myself and grin. She is great at this.

"Thank you!" I hug her. I have been so nervous and she just makes everything so much better.

She laughs, hugging me back, "Of course babes!"

I put on my shoes and grab the necklace I wear every day, putting it on.

May hands me some bracelets and after putting them on. I am done.

I hear the doorbell and I head downstairs.

"What are you doing here?" I hear my brother. Oh crap.

"I'm here for-" Theo starts but his eyes land on me. "Hey, beautiful."

"Hi," I smile.

"What the fuck!" Isaac gasps.

I look at him with a warning, "I can date who I want."

"Not my best friend. And you didn't even tell me, you asshole!" He yells turning to Theodore.

"Isaac, come on dude. It's not that big of a deal," he sighs.

"Yes, it is."

"No, it's not."

"Yes, it is."

"No, it's not"

"Yes, it-" "Stop!" I shout and they both turn to me.

I look at Isaac, "I will date whoever I want. You don't let me date any random guy at school because you don't trust them. You should trust him."

"I am not talking to him at the moment," he informs.

"I don't care. You took the girl he was supposed to take, you messed up," I roll my eyes.

He groans, "fine but I don't approve of this."

I shrug, "it's still my life. I'm old enough to date who I want."

He sighs and nods then turns to Theo, "Have her home by 11:30."

Theo smirks, mumbling an 'okay' then looks back at me.
