I said goodbye to my aunt and made my way, the park was not so far from home.

The walk was five minutes more or less, the night is cool, thank God I put on the sweater.

The trunk didn't weigh that much, it only had school supplies and clothes, I need to buy more clothes, the ones I have won't fit me soon.

I freed Hedwing before leaving, I told her to wait for me in the dripping cauldron, she is smart, she will surely arrive soon.

Coming out of my thoughts I realized that it was not long to get there, I could see the streetlights lighting the hammocks and slides.

When I arrived I left my trunk next to the hammocks and I looked around the park trying to locate Sirius.

I heard the bushes moving and saw it for the first time.

He was a tall black dog and quite malnourished.

When he saw me he growled at me, I stepped forward carefully with my hand up in an attempt to calm him down.

He worked, he approached carefully, his eyes showed so many emotions that it was difficult for me to identify them all, I could see some tears escaping from his eyes.

"Come... I don't want to hurt you" he came closer to my hand and I caressed his fur gently, he relaxed at my touch and I kept giving him affection.

"You must be hungry, let me find something for you" he pulled away from my hand to look at me carefully as he searched for something in my trunk.

I took out some chicken and potatoes that were left over from today's dinner and gave it to him.

Padfoot sniffed the food before starting to eat, it didn't take him long to finish and with good reason, I can't imagine what they had given him in Azkaban.

I took out a bottle of water and gave him some.

Several drops splashed on his face as he took.

"You urgently need a puppy bath…Would you like to come with me? Hmm?" I spoke to him lovingly as he stroked his fur. I wanted to ask first, since he already had a whole plan to go after Pettigrew, but I hope he gives me a sign that he wants, he needs to eat, bathe... he won't be able to get that without help.

Sirius looked me in the eyes, then I realized that he already recognized me, he had a look of longing and happiness, he gave me several licks on the face and I took it as a yes.

"I'm Harriet Potter, what's your name? You need a good name…" I looked at him carefully as he cocked his head to the side. I never thought of a name for dogs, never had one... Harry called him Snuffles, he should leave the name to him.

"How about Snuffles? Do you like it? I'm not good with names, I never had a pet, well besides Hedwing, it's my owl I know you'll love her...-" I snapped out of my rambling when Sirius gave a small He barked before jumping on top of me and giving me kisses all over my face.

I took it carefully and laughed.  "Yeah, you like Snuffles, well now you're part of the family... Welcome Snuffles Potter" Sirius looked at me tearfully, and I hugged him.

"Come let's put a collar on you, we don't want people to think you're a stray dog, do we?" Sirius shook his head and pulled the collar and leash out of my trunk and put it on him.

"Well Snuffles, our next destination is to go to the Leaky Cauldron, Hedwing is waiting for us there" Sirius seemed quite happy, his tail wagging from side to side and he smiled with his tongue sticking out. He is such a cute dog.

I took out my wand and cast the 'Lumos'  spell.

A current of wind made my hair go everywhere, I closed my eyes before that and when I opened them the Knight Bus was in front of me.

I looked to my side and Sirius was with his mouth hanging out and his fur all messed up, I couldn't help but laugh at the sight, calling Sirius' attention who gave a kind of laugh when he saw me.

I heard the doors open and Stan Shumpike (the bus guard) came out talking in a monotone voice.

"Welcome to the Knight Bus, emergency transport for the warlock left to his own devices. Extend your wand, climb aboard and we'll take you wherever you want. My name is Stan Shunpike. I'll be at your service tonight."

I looked at Sirius to my right before going upstairs, Stan helped me up the trunk and gave him a suspicious look at that Sirius growled at him causing Stan to scare.

I couldn't help but look at the bus, it has three floors, it's purple and there are several bunks with beds for the passengers.

I chose the one that looked the cleanest and sat down with Sirius next to me.

"What's your stop?" Stan asked me bored.

"To the Leaky Cauldron Please"

"You heard Ernie, the lady and dog wants to go to the Leaky Cauldron" Stan yelled at Ernie, an old man with big glasses that made him look like an owl.

"Alright, hold on tight..." Announcement
before starting.

I held Sirius against my chest and tried to relax.
