~Before~
"I... I can't believe you..." Adrianna whispers. She feels as if she's been shot in the chest. Her once-upon-a-time soulmate. HE did this to her. It doesn't feel real.
"It was a mistake! Please, Adri, I can fix this! I didn't mean to-" Gavin says, but she's heard this a million times.
"If you didn't mean to, you wouldn't have done it, Gavin!"
"Yeah, b-but, I- I thought you were-" he starts.
"You thought wrong!!" She swipes her hands under her eyes.
"Adrianna. Please. I can't lose you."
"You should have thought about that before you threw everything away," she says. She looks into his eyes just then to show she's serious. She's not going back.
Gavin looks as he's about to cry. "I know, and I'm-"
"Save it. This has been wonderful... I'm sorry you had to ruin it." She shakes her head. "We're done." She heads towards the door.
"Adri, wait. Adrianna!" Gavin calls uselessly.
"Bye, Gavin," Adrianna simply states.
"Please, come back. We can still-" The door slams shut.
