~chapter dos~

CHAPTER 2

“wait! um would you like to go for a fly with me?” seiki looked at shuri who was staring at her with a look of hope in her eyes

“sure.” shuri smiled a bit and grabbed two hoverboards before they left

getting on one each, both girls flew off and through the streets of wakanda. shuri looked over at seiki who was smiling softly, wind in her hair and a look of pure calmness in her eyes

the two flew onto one of the tall buildings with a flat roof where shuri normally goes to stargaze in the night. 

“you know this place?” shuri asked as seiki got off her board

“yeah i used to stargaze here” she sat on the roof’s edge and watched the night sky. shuri sat next to her and sighed. seiki eventually looked at her and spoke

“what is it?”

“this is where my brother and I used to stargaze. i havent been here since” seiki nodded and stared at the moon. shuri rested her head on seiki’s shoulder and seiki’s arm started to play in her hair, calming her. 

eventually it got really late and seiki spoke

“cmon lets head back to the palace” they got up and left.

time skip to a few weeks later. (week of shuri’s birthday)

-seiki’s been out these last few weeks and no one has heard from her–

shuri was sitting in the living room with her mom and nakia going over birthday plans for the ball held in shuri’s honor. she was just staring out the window while her mother and nakia did the planning

“shuri are you even listening?”

“huh? wa- yes i am” she answered and continued to stare out the window

“do you miss seiki that much?”

“what are you talking about? i dont” shuri denied it but the two females knew she missed her badly

the doors to the room opened and seiki walked in, holding three boxes in her hand

“im baaaack” she rested the boxes down on the table only to be tackled by shuri

“thank merlin” seiki giggled and hugged her back

“you missed me that much?” shuri didn’t answer as she left a silent kiss on seiki’s shoulder before pulling back

“so where have you been sei?”

“I went home to do some things”

“without telling us?”

“pretty much. I’m sorry.” she took up a box each and gave one to each woman.

“what are these?”

“open them” they did and were shocked to see an outfit each

“where did you find this?!”

“I made them. we have amazing cloth back home so I made these. go try them on” they left and seiki sat, looking at the plans for shuri’s birthday ball. 

‘hm’ ramonda walked out in a long black and purple dress with an off the shoulder style which had little panthers stitched along it, a mid-thigh cut and a short trail behind her

“this is gorgeous dear” seiki smiled as nakia came out in a blue and black sleeveless dress with panthers along the hem and top along with pockets on both sides.

“amazing” 

shuri came out in a black, blue and purple, 3 piece suit with black panther cufflinks, black pants, a purple waistcoat and a dark blue jacket. blush stained seiki’s face as she watched her

“wow” she whispered as shuri looked at her

“this is beautiful, thanks” seiki nodded and they went to change back before sitting down around the table. 

“there’s also jewelry and shoes in your rooms. it was alot to carry”
