seiki was laying in her bed reading in the night when her door was knocked on
“come in” her soft voice spoke as the door opened. shuri walked in and closed the door behind her
“yes shuri?”
“hey could we talk?”
“sure” she sat next to her on her bed and spoke
“so I met this girl, riri and she is an amazing person, i wanted you to meet her, i think I like her alot”
“thats nice. when are you gonna introduce her?”
“tomorrow at dinner”
“okay” shuri stood and left with a smile on her face while seiki’s eyes filled with tears
‘i knew it.’ she threw her book onto the chair next to her and went to sleep.
—dinner time, the next day—
seiki hasn’t been out her room all day as riri was brought to the palace early.
riri, shuri, okyoe, nakia and ramonda were sitting in the dining room eating when seiki walked in dressed in black pants, a white shirt and sneakers, her normal dinner attire.
“evening everyone”
“evening seiki! how are you?”
“im good. hungry tho” she sat next to nakia and smiled at her before taking food and eating
“seiki”
“hm?” she looked at shuri who spoke
“this is riri, riri this is seiki” they exchanged greetings and seiki went back to eating and chatting with nakia
a dora milaje walked in speaking
“seikiya?”
“yes?”
“your stuff are here” she nodded and spoke as she stood,
“thank you for dinner, I must get going”
“where are you going?”
“i’m heading out for a few days.”
“so suddenly?”
“well i have my reasons. i’ll be back” she waved and left, only nakia and okoye seeing the tear run down her cheek as she walked out.
“that was unexpected” nakia stood and spoke
“I’ll be back” she ran after seiki who was getting into a car
“seiki!”
“yes?”
“where are you really going”
“away from here”
“why?” seiki watched her finally and nakia’s eyes widened at the tears in them.
“shuri and riri are perfect for each other and I don’t want to ruin that. so I’m leaving” she got into the car and spoke
“tell aunty and okoye for me. not shuri or riri” nakia nodded and the car drove off. nakia went back inside and joined the others at dinner.
seiki’s eyes were red when she reached her destination, kiyax castle, her birth home.
she took her stuff and thanked the driver before going inside
“home sweet home i guess” she went into her room and packed her stuff away before going to take a nap.
