Story Summary
Susan Blackthorn is the second oldest Blackthorn and half-faerie like her two siblings: Helen and Mark. They're the older siblings that look at for your younger siblings at their home in the Los Angeles Institute. It's not easy being half-faerie given runes burn because she's demon blood from her faerie heritage of her mother, but it has perks of able to lie and immune to fey weaknesses. Still...who can trust the words of a faerie? Susan's parents have her requested for a transfer to the New York Institute and leaving behind her siblings is tough as it is when you're the "new kid" in town.
