(I should also add that in LBPT (the planet/universe my ocs live on) the female's last name is the one thats carried in the family. )
(Along with that, in their language there isnt a difference between male and female pronouns so when earthlings came to that planet the LBPT natives just stuck with the pronouns they identified with most. People on earth had a social construct about gender and the people on LBPT didn't. They only used pronouns they identified with and no gender-specific nouns for their people, some people from earth went along with this (Like Xandsand).)
TLDR, most of my ocs native to LBPT are genderless, including Riku. Although Xandsand is from earth he's also genderless because he was born on LBPT and wasn't exposed to gender roles other than male pronouns that he stuck with.)
By earth standards Riku would be a woman and Xansand would be a man, but on LBPT that would be incorrect since those categories don't apply

Both of them are pschyos but not violent, well the are violent but they put their violence inna good form. I haven't built the world fully in my head yet but on other plants in the solar system there's these types of monsters that want to eat the galaxy and Xandsand and Riku fight against them in their spare time.
Since Riku isn't from earth or earth's solar system she can travel to different planets easily by going to a specific part of LBPT that can eject a person to a planet of their choosing within a 120 AU radius.
